Frequently Asked Questions
All of you who have their Backer number less than or equal to #2595 will get one Griffin Reward to EVERY GAME in Core Pledge, Miniature Pledge, Legendary Pledge, Multi-Core Pledge, Multi-Miniature Pledge, and Multi-Legendary Pledge.Last updated:
Don't be worried about your Griffin Bonus. All Day 1 Backers can change their Pledge to any kind (Core, Miniature, Legendary) and they will not lose the Griffin for free. All of you who want to buy the Griffin additionally, you can do it by increasing your Pledge by $5. The shipping cost of each Add-on is an estimate and you can wait for the real price of shipping in Pledge Manager (BackerKit).Last updated:
It is quite a new technology used in the game production phase when miniatures are covered by a thin layer of dark color creating a nice contrast on the miniature. It has become popular especially with board games because not every player has tools or time to paint minis by themselves. Black Wash Finish makes minis look much nicer than in plain gray of plastic.
Since this technique is applied in the production stage, we don't have any photos of our miniatures with the Black Wash Finish. You can check the internet for images for example from Aftermath board game which was published quite recently. Or this guy talking about it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KqsdUP0IOmELast updated:
Definitely not. You just use any base spray to base your miniature and paint them as usual.Last updated:
Yes, they are. :-)Last updated:
At this time, we anticipate producing the game in English, Czech, German, and French.
We created a survey where every Backer can choose the specific language which they prefer for their game. If you HAVEN'T VOTED yet, you can do so here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1vO08YddtO2LduMNFtnVPFHaGHyuE9Ik2Xt_HOTixLpc/edit?usp=sharing
We would like to reassure you that fan-made translations of Rulebook, Appendix, and game components will be available to download and print on our website even if we don't reach the limit to produce the whole game in a specific language. There are some texts on the components but we are confident it is possible to play the game with the help of the abovementioned materials.
We are in contact with volunteers for rulebook translations to the following languages: Polish, Spanish, Italian, Greek, Portuguese, Dutch, Hungarian, and Russian.Last updated:
Yes, there are English Rulebook and Appendix available in digital format (find the links below). However, be aware that these are Work in Progress. Neither of them is final. They may still be tweaked and changed, layout and graphics may still be altered, and more examples will be added. The final versions will be corrected and proofread by a professional, Paul Grogan (from Gaming Rules!).

The table with a size of 1.7-1.9 m by 0.75-0.9 m is enough. The ranges are mentioned because of the number of players. For example, we have a table with a size of 2.0 m by 0.84 m and there is no problem playing the game in 4 players and you still have space for the game box and snacks.
The Organizer Add-on reduces the space requirements up to 50% (except the boards, map and quest cards, of course).Last updated:
Yes. You will get 2 more Custom Dice for the Dwarf for the same price of the Add-on. Also, the organizer is designed to include the Dwarf's ability tiles.Last updated:
Yes. The Add-ons will contain more components depending on the unlocked Stretch Goals but for the same Add-on price. For example, the Card Sleeves Add-on will contain enough card sleeves for all original and unlocked cards in the game.Last updated:
It's not finally set but estimates are:
Core Box will probably be about 36 x 25,5 x 15 cm (14,17 x 10,04 x 5,90 inches)
Miniature Box will probably be about 36 x 25,5 x 20 cm (14,17 x 10,04 x 7,87 inches)
Legendary Pledge = Miniature Box + Legendary Box
Legendary box will be probably about 36 x 25,5 x 12 cm (14,17 x 10,04 x 4,72 inches)Last updated:
The whole organizer was designed with the presence of a game prototype to fit into the box but it is not physically produced yet. For that reason, we can't share the pictures of fitting the organizer in the box. We will be sharing pictures and more information about it after the campaign, during the preproduction works. The content of the whole Legendary Pledge will fit into the Miniature box after taking components out from the punchboards. After this, it's not necessary to use the Legendary Collection box. You can use it for example for not-used components like standard hero dice, gold tokens, etc.
We also discussed the cardholders but it would take up quite a lot of space in the box and would also increase the price for something not really needed. Even with the card sleeves, the stacks won't be higher than 2 cm so there is no such probability that the stacks will fall down. We tested it and it will not be a problem.Last updated:
