After backing three tech projects which have each failed to be anything more than scams, the reality is Kickstarter is skimming their 15% "juice" and there is zero incentive in their business model to change or offer the slightest protection for backers. The only way Kickstarter will EVER be motivated to change is if the pool of suckers dries up and closes their account in LARGE numbers. Leading the way, I am closing mine after posting this comment.

      1. Click on ‘Me’ from the top-right corner of the page. Under ‘My Account’ click on ‘Edit Settings’.
      2. On this page, select the ‘Account’ tab.
      3. On the right hand side of the page, click on ‘Delete my Kickstarter account’. Say bye-bye to your Kickstarter account.

Honestly something must be done! I cannot believe they just scammed us like that!
Is there any way we can hold them responsible for this and get something out of it??!
      Someone below mentioned this: http://www.dailydot.com/business/washington-kickstarter-consumer-protection-lawsuit/
Is there no protection for backers? I will never back another project again. This is the second project that has failed me. I hate this.

You collected $48,000+ and your goal was only $30,000! Why can you get your act together to deliver the products promised or at the least, refunds to people who supported your dreams?

I will join any legal action initiated. This is the third Kickstarter fraud to which I've been subjected. First, a product was offered -- then a refund promised. Neither has materialized.

    38. Nícolas Óliver on March 7, 2014

      Same here, no refund!

    39. Dan Panetta on March 6, 2014

I'd hate to have it come to this but we could have a class action lawsuit. We could be awarded the refund plus interest. I know interest on 30 something dollars is not enough to excite anyone but could be enough to teach them a lesson. And who knows we all might become part owners of the company.

Arq docks look like a great idea. But I will not support another Kickstarter project after this one and Foundation Dock took my money and they pulled a cowardly disappearing act. In any other industry that is called fraud.

People supported your dreams and your dreams in good faith. Issue refunds and don't screw the people who tried to help you. Try to find at least the minimum level of personal integrity.

    44. Parisri on February 28, 2014

      Refund, please.
