National Hardware Show
Last week, I was an exhibitor at the National Hardware Show - an industry trade show for all things hardware and home improvement. There were over 2,700 exhibitors in the main hall, but just 150 of us in the Inventors Spotlight area (a specific area to highlight new products). It was a great experience talking with a wide variety of people about my product - manufacturers' reps, outsourcing agents, product development consultants, independent hardware store owners, contractors, roof rack manufacturers, and large retailers (Home Depot, Menard's, ACE, Amazon, WalMart...).
The feedback was all very positive and there was a lot of interest. Two common themes: make the Grips smaller and develop the product line. I guess I have my marching orders...time to get this to market!
