Making the video was easily the single hardest part of launching this project. Nerves in front of the camera, the horror of watching yourself talk, and a general inability to direct or edit anything coherent all contributed to several false starts. The only reason we got the job done was because we had help from Chris Trumbull and Rian Devos. Chris conducted the first interviews, outtakes of which are in the video above. He also shot footage and let us borrow his camera equipment for months on end, in addition to helping us shape the message we were trying to deliver. Rian shot the final interview and edited the final video in a matter of days, which meant we could finally launch Flatland "on time", a couple months after our initial launch date.

Launch we did, and only 6 days into the campaign it looks like today might be the day we reach our funding goal. We're thrilled, and hope we can keep the momentum going and get Flatland into as many hands as possible. As always, thanks for the support!

Hope you're well out there!

Cheers,

Chris
