Fifty years ago, the face of the Earth was permanently changed when it came into contact with a mysterious force known as the “Alpha Nebula.” As a result, humans developed various supernatural abilities and divided themselves based on those traits.
The main factions include: The Tonitrui, the Excedente, the Praecantator, the Permuto, and the Northmanni. Each has their own unique set of abilities that came with the collision – with the exception of the Northmanni, who remain largely unchanged.
Among these races, however, existed a special group of people who managed to retain all the other races’ abilities. They were a very powerful - but small and isolated group - known as “Emulators.”
Arin Arlento was one of these people, living in a remote village with his grandfather and other members of their race; everything was peaceful until the Northmanni Empire massacred the Emulators and kidnapped his childhood friend, Aria.
The only other survivor, Arin escaped into the Northmanni’s home continent of Rakos, hiding and plotting his revenge – that is, until he found out that Aria was still alive and was being experimented on.
Loathing the world that took everything away from him, Arin begins his quest to retrieve his friend and exact retribution on those who destroyed all that he held dear.
It’s one misguided man against the world…

This campaign's purpose is to boost the amount of content contained in the first volume of Episicava. Earlier this year we ran a kickstarter for a much larger version of the project - a version which encapsulated all 3 volumes. Since then, we've decided to reevaluate our scope. Since then, the project has undergone a lot of changes to assure we can deliver the best product possible, and has received a lot of donations and support from fans. While we're always working hard, we feel that we should also go the extra mile - and despite splitting into three volumes - still bring as much content as we can to the table.
The project is scheduled for a late summer/early fall release on Nutaku, where the uncut 18+ version will be released. We have plans for a subsequent steam release, and a patch will be made to allow the 18+ content to be still viewed and enjoyed for all backers.
Volume one features roughly 5-10 hours of play arising from a word count of more 150K+, more than 40 CGs and 20+ music tracks. The first volume contains the common route progressions through Fulgur and Tribus, as well as Aniam and Alacria's routes.

Check out the various stretch goals and rewards explained below, as well as our budget!
We've also partnered with Top Hat Studios, Inc. for additional support, and with Nutaku for releasing an uncensored, uncut version of the game to our fans.
Q: Why the Campaign?
A: We've launched on Kickstarter to fund the extra content and art polish for Episicava's first volume.
Q: Is this the same project I saw on Kimochi and earlier this year on Kickstarter?
A: As a simple answer, yes. Since then we've decided to change the scope of the project because of internal issues, so this project is a segment of the game that was advertised in those earlier campaigns; it is essentially the same project, just volume one of the planned trilogy.
Q: How will I receive the game?
A: The game is available through DRM-Free distribution, a Nutaku copy, or a steam key.
Q: For a project this ambitious, why is the goal so low? A: The goal here is only part of our total budget. Most of our budget has already been accounted for through investments by Nutaku and Top Hat Studios, as well as our many Patrons and Fans alike.
Risks and challenges
We are very close to seeing release on Nutaku and have launched this kickstarter to fund some extra content we added to volume one to cover for the separation of the game. The game will see release in it's proper form by the planned release date.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
