I love digital tabletops.
Like most things worth doing this started as a passion project. For years I wanted to make art that did our tabletop rpg sessions justice.
Maps and player icons hand drawn in a consistent isometric style that you can use to create your own adventures in digital tabletop software such as Roll20. Core set includes huge maps, encounter areas, interior and exterior areas, player icons, monster icons, loot, traps, and spell effects.
All of my maps and encounter areas are designed to work with my player and monster icons.Below you can see a few examples of the set in action as well as the stretch goal list.
Try out the assets in this sample package linked below, throw the assets into your digital tabletop software of choice and run an encounter with your players.
Upon successful completion of the kickstarter you will receive a link to download the already completed core set. The stretch goal list represents the scope of where i'd like to take this project with your help.
Backers can watch me stream the stretch goal map/icons creation process.
I hope you will join me on this epic journey of adventure and art. Even if we don't achieve this full list of stretch goals I will endeavour to support the players of this graphics set with further updates and bonus material.
I made 2 videos, the 30 second clean version and this longer more awkward one with me speaking about the project.
Risks and challenges
I want to make the art a reflection of my own style and stay true to that throughout this entire project.
I have been a freelance and inhouse concept artist for the past ten years working for companies such as Marvel, THQ, Fantasy Flight, Games Workshop. I have spent years developing other people's worlds and stories. This is a chance for me to share with you a personal project of my own.
My hope is to build a community of players lead by dedicated dungeon masters that love the aesthetics of my isometric material.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
