Writer: Brian Hawkins
Brian Hawkins I am a writer. I love story-telling. It is the examination of the human condition captured and expressed in words, pictures, and stories that drives me while at the same times gives me solace. This intrinsic affinity for writing and creating is what caused me to major in English in undergrad and what ultimately led me to become an English teacher. In addition to being an educator in the public school system, I have experience in the community college setting, having been an adjunct instructor for English, Writing and Religion courses. Beyond my experience as an educator, I bring several years of experience in writing, directing, and producing stage plays through a small theater production company that I owned. My background in writing, directing, and producing has enabled me to develop a well-balanced sense of organization and productivity, and the ability to motivate and inspire people into action. In addition to my writing plays and play production experience, I have also written and self-published a novel. I am presently working on a second comic book title and a comic strip for possible syndication.

Lettering: Toben Racicot
Toben Racicot Writer/Production Manager Toben Racicot built his first spaceship at the age of four. That spaceship would eventually take him to other planets and galaxies. The warranty was poor and the Lego company wouldn’t replace the bricks but his adventures were worth it. After passing years working in restaurants and hotels, he spent two years in the Dominican Republic. These experiences and now he seeks to tell gripping tales in the comic book medium. His love for comic books began with Archie and progressed to Shonen manga in his teenage years. He starting reading Venom when Rick Remender and Tony Moore relaunched the series in 2011. He discovered Image with East of West and Black Science. He’s worked as a letterer on multiple stories that have seen publication: Littlelight Asylum, Fate Maker, Billy La Bufanda, and Faith Walker, designed covers and logos, and written two webcomics: Fear Catalyst and The Cinderella. For over a year Toben has written reviews, articles, and hosted a podcast for ThePulpMedia.com. He’s completed a Bachelor’s Degree in creative writing and design. His paper, "Creativity in the Classroom” won first place in the Research and Creative Works Conference. And another paper, “Joe The Barbarian: A Graphic Novel for Classrooms” was accepted to the 2015 National Undergraduate Literature Conference.
