The Blood Plague is a Dark Fantasy Adventure Module for Dungeons & Dragons: 5th Edition for Levels 3-5 which focuses on a deadly plague. The Blood Plague has struck the world of Penumbra and left it's people reeling in horror at it's ferocity.
What is it?
- A dark fantasy adventure fraught with perils - The Blood Plague, warring knights & far worse...
- The story revolves around finding a safe refuge in the Blood Plague at Arckenbury Cathedral, but getting there won't be easy.
- A medieval Realm known as Penumbra with a distinctly dark and unique flavour. This includes brutal history & warring factions of Penumbra.
- Gorgeous artwork of the Characters & World of Penumbra, as featured on the Podcast, Turncloaks.
UNEASY ALLIANCES THAT YOU WILL FORGE:
Prominent Characters from the world of Penumbra as seen in the story of Turncloaks will feature in the narrative and history of the Adventure. While you may meet them as NPCs, we encourage you to create your own PCs for the Adventure, or use your existing ones!
ENEMIES WHO WILL HUNT YOU:
The Blood Plague has lead to the creation of the creatures of sinew and strife. These beings of transcendent evil haunt the darkest recesses of the forests of Arckenbury, searching for those who would seek to prevent the Plague. Something, or someone must drive them forwards...

All of the written content for the Core Module itself is 100% completed, and well over 80% of the Core Artwork is also completed, and this has been paid for out of our pocket. We wanted to make sure that you received the exact product as promised, but this has of course cost us! We're looking to raise the money needed to cover our art costs we've already purchased, as well as to add in some amazing new content to the Module, including beautiful Maps & exciting new Published authors.

Risks and challenges
We've decided to keep everything within the Project as manageable as possible to minimize potential risks. We have experience with completing Kickstarter campaigns with our previous D&D adventure, The Breath of Gorr. This project was delivered on time and to a high quality, and we are now familiar with the challenges of creating an adventure. 100% of the writing for the core module itself has already been completed. Well over 75% of the core artwork has also already been completed.
Communication is very important to us with this project, and you have a direct line to the team via this page, as well as our email at: firstname.lastname@example.org. We will also be posting regular updates to our Kickstarter page regarding the production timeline.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
