This is our first Kickstarter campaign at Coding Kids. Our forte is delivering both in-person and online coding workshops for students and educators Australia-wide. We specialise in tailor-made programs that suit the needs of our partners, whether they are students, schools, or local libraries.
We love what we do! We are committed to our community, to the people who support the work that we do, and to the people who are working tirelessly to inspire the next generation of creators, innovators and change makers. We are committed to making this Kickstarter campaign a success for all of you, our fantastic supporters!
Emily de la Pena, Founder and CEO of Coding Kids, is an award-winning business owner. She built her career as a civil engineer for over a decade before pursuing her dream of STEM education and outreach. Emily was recently appointed on the Queensland Premier’s Anti-Cyberbullying Advisory Committee. Emily is committed to delivering a successful Kickstarter project on time and for the delight of our customers.
Emily was awarded 40 under 40: Top Young Entrepreneurs Brisbane and has been shortlisted for the Entrepreneur Award as part of the annual ARN Women in ICT Awards, Queensland Women in Leadership Award, What’s on 4 Kids Awards and the Queensland Pearcey Award, and Advance Queensland’s Community Digital Champion.
