Tea Wrex Enamel Pins!
Yes, you heard me right. Tea Wrex. His name is Reginald, and he would like to join you on your worldly travels. Maybe even share in his hoard of exotic tea blends whilst you catch the next air current in your dirigible.
This project is a short term project much like my last enamel pin project, but revolves around tea, any kind of tea, and dinosaurs. I introduced Reginald to my line up 4-ish years ago, and he's quickly picking up as much of a following as the Coffee Zombie and Chai Monster. If there's something we can all bond over, it's our love of weird drinks.
This is the print I'm launching, to go with this wonderful campaign.
This is the concept art I have sent to the pin makers, as he will have his own backer card, and be individually wrapped:
I am also ordering some die cut stickers to go with my new 3 inch tall die cut stickers of the Coffee Zombie and Chai Monster:
The Tea Stash box is something I launched new at Tucson Comic Con last November:
I have a couple minor edits to do to the file to let the standard tea bag size lay flat, but I am offering these up for the Boston Tea Wrex Party reward tier. They are currently 4.25 inch x 3.5 inch x 2.25 inch.
- Campaign for 2 weeks (Ending 4/14)
- 2 more weeks for the funds to transfer to my account (Approx 4/28)
- 3-4 weeks for pin production and delivery to me (Approx 5/26)
- 1 week for me to pack envelopes (Approx 6/2)
- 1 week for delivery to US backers (6-10 days for international)
I've given myself a month padding into July for delivery in case of life or postal service craziness.
Why No Mugs?!
Shipping. That's... really the main reason. Come find me at Starfest in Denver or Tucson CC 2019 and I should have some, though!
Who The Heck Are You Anyway?
I'm Emma from EmaCartoon.com and Em2a Studios. I'm a laser engraving maker extraordinaire, who sleeps too little, drinks too much caffeine, and just likes drawing and making stuff. I've traveled across North America to various comic-cons selling my arts and wares for the last decade. 3 years ago, I reduced the number of shows I vend at because it was taking away too much of my creative time, but I'm still around.
Risks and challenges
This project carries a low risk as these pins are getting made anyway, and everything else already has been made. Only challenge depends on how many envelopes are getting packed, but as I have done this before, I also know how to handle the load. Barring any physical injury to myself, this is happening. Even if something does physically injure me, I have back up.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
