Short answer, yes. Think of the general hero unlocks like tokens, and you get to choose when you use them, and what on specifically. Our partnered packs will have specific hero unlocks tied to them, that directly support the creators, but in all these partnered tiers you'll also be receiving tokens to unlock whatever you desire in the meantime.
While Infinity Heroes is a spiritual successor to Infinity Wars, they are separate games, and you won't be able to carry progress over. We are looking at ways that we can reward and compliment Infinity Wars players who continue to support our products but have nothing to comment here on an official note.
All friend invite codes will be specifically for the Alpha tier, which is why Friend Invite codes aren't available to Beta tier backers. The only other things they'll receive is a unique title for being invited to the game, and a single hero unlock.
The pre-launch party will be a week before our game heads into an open beta. You'll get your hands on the game a little early by backing at this tier. The event itself will include a live stream with developers and community members discussing Infinity Heroes, and talking about the future of the game.
The technical alpha is already live.
The Closed Alpha starts in December.
The Closed Beta starts in March
The Open Beta is scheduled for around May
The game will release around August, or when it's ready.
A mistake was made before we hit live, and then we caught it was wrong. At that point, it was too late, as Kickstarter doesn't allow you to change tiers that people have bought in to. Sorry for the confusion there.
