I finally assembled (compiled? created? stitched? stuck together?) the shots I took from my first ever attempt at a timelapse: Thanks for this awesome tool! Next up: more interesting subject!

@Peter -- I have record yours was delivered to the address I had from you at 10:55 am on December 17, 2012 -- if you can't find it, open up a ticket at and we'll get it figured out. Thanks!

I have not got mine yet, Iv'e got the shipping notification on 29th of October. Anyone have not got yours ?

    5. Jost Jahn on December 8, 2012

Today it arrived after tax procedures also here in Germany.
Just updated the firmware. Works with reading the manual without problems.
All seems well, I will try timelpase next days. But not so well is, that there is no PDF manual at the homepaghe. I would like one to print it out in very small format.

    6. GSimon on November 22, 2012

Hi Elijah! Check out the latest HD time-lapse video I made, this one is longer:… 14000+ photos compiled into 3mins.

    7. Steve Parker on November 22, 2012

      Hi Elijah,
As a novice photographer I would find a webinar where you step through the basics of firmware updates and Timelapse+ basic instruction very helpful. Is that something that could be scheduled?

    8. GSimon on November 20, 2012

In case you're still online I'm currently taking another timelapse. It's longer than 10,000 frames and I know in the manual it specifies setting it to 0 for infinity. When I set it to 0 it just took 0 pictures though, so is it possible to select 19,999 frames? I'll be able to answer my own question in a few hours when I check up on the device, although I thought I might of been limited to 10,000 pics for whatever reason.

    9. Elijah Parker 2-time Creator on November 20, 2012

      @GSimon -- that's great -- thanks!

    10. Elijah Parker 2-time Creator on November 20, 2012

@Tom -- it might be a bit late now, but here's an answer to your question about mounting it:

    11. Elijah Parker 2-time Creator on November 20, 2012

@Pakojo - you'll want to upgrade the firmware anyway, so that they're different versions doesn't matter. As for the one with the screen problem, sorry it has a problem! You'll need a replacement. For all support issues, please use rather than comments, kickstarter messages or emails -- it greatly helps me provide better support and not have things fall through the cracks. Thanks!

Hi, recieved both of my Timelapses, one appears to be of a different firmware version than the other, one of them I'm unable to read the screen, even pressing hard only fixes it temporarly, how can I get a replacement?

    13. GSimon on November 18, 2012

Hey Elijah! Took my first timelapse the other day, check it out:… 20 seconds longs, 630 photos from 3:15pm-5:15pm taken at Trent University (ON, Canada). Took a picture every 10 seconds. Look forward to trying out some of the other features, had a bit of trouble with the firmware update but hopefully I can figure things out ok :)

    14. Tom Malewicki on November 15, 2012

I am not asking how to connect the TL+ to the camera with the cable, that I know how to do, but how to "attach" the TL+ to the camera. Should have used the word "attach" before, sorry.

    15. Elijah Parker 2-time Creator on November 14, 2012

@Tom, yes, it connects to the camera via the camera adaptor cable, assuming your camera supports a remote shutter release cable. Otherwise there's IR. Not all devices have bluetooth -- it was an option that about 80% chose. Yours does have bluetooth. Most of them didn't have firmware that supported the bluetooth at the time of shipping, but the current release does.

TL+ arrived, charged, tested, all works fine (I now have a timelapse video of leaves rustling in the tree outside my house.....)
@Tom: I used the supplied cable to connect from TL+ to the remote shutter port on my Canon EOS 40D. Don't know about Bluetooth...

Woo! My Timelapse+ arrived in my mailbox Down Under today, nearly 2 weeks after the "It's been shipped" email. I'm charging the battery now - can't wait to start using it.

    18. Tom Malewicki on November 11, 2012

Has anyone attached their Timelapse+ to their camera? If you did, how? Pictures?

    19. Tom Malewicki on November 11, 2012

Do all the devices sent to the backers have Bluetooth internally?

    20. Elijah Parker 2-time Creator on November 9, 2012

@Ben -- let me know how it goes. The cable might be bad or need cleaning, too. If you keep having trouble, go ahead and create a ticket through . Thanks!

      Ben W Bell on November 9, 2012

I'm trying to decide if I have a loose connection in the cable socket. Seems like it works when the cable is rotated one way, but not another. I shall continue experimenting, and use both ends of the cable, to see if there is a pattern.

    22. Elijah Parker 2-time Creator on November 9, 2012

@Alex -- could be in need of replacement, but what you can try first is giving it a squeeze in the center above the screen (to re-seat the LCD connection). This might fix it permanently or temporarily; in the latter case we'll get you a replacement.

    23. Alex Moss on November 9, 2012

Mine has arrived but I cant read the screen, anything I'm missing here, or is this one a repair job?

    24. Elijah Parker 2-time Creator on November 8, 2012

@Mark -- all confirmed addresses have been shipped. There were about 20 where there might have been some confusion where they had logged in, probably saw their address was correct, but didn't actually check the box confirming the address. You're in that group -- I realize that would happen easily. We're treating those as confirmed and sending them out tonight. After that we'll continue to ship to the remaining 140 unconfirmed addresses without waiting any longer for confirmation.

@Daniel, yes this is a real priority as my goal for the Timelapse+ is to meet the specific and advanced needs of the community, so yes, your feedback and ideas are more than welcome! A good place to continue this discussion could be in the forums at . Thanks!

    31. Elijah Parker 2-time Creator on November 2, 2012

@Gid --I just noticed your comment now -- if you haven't already, please submit a support ticket via . Also, see for the known issues -- it might be fixed by squeezing in the center right above the screen. Thanks!

    32. Scott Kosmach on November 2, 2012

      Good Day Elijah,

I am writing this in hopes to start dialog regarding the Bulb Ramping feature. Once you have cleared the hurtle of getting the units produced and shipped I would like to speak in depth about the ramping needs of the timelpase community. I'm coming from over a year of "The Little Bramper" experience and I would like to share my thoughts. There are many Intervalometers out there with similar feature of the Timelapse+ but I believe a well implemented ramping feature can set it apart. I would like to see more that ramping from one shutterspeed to another over X amount of time. Being able to do aperture jumping effectively requires a lens profile that a user can enter F/stop variations between aperture settings (Its different for every lens and focal length). I have dialed in 3 of my lenses and have a chart I work off when aperture stepping. I have a few ideas to smoothly implement features to facilitate this. Thank you for your time and I hope this is as big of a priority for others as it is for me.

Received my unit, thanks. But after charging 6 hours, all I can get it do do is fir screen to light up. No battery indicator, no menu, characters, nothing. Screen lights up blank, then switched off after a few seconds. Ideas?

Received mine here in Canada yesterday. Looks great, much smaller than I thought it would be. Thanks for taking my suggestion to have a red backlight option in the unit, this makes it perfect for my astrophotography sessions now. I look forward to trying it out over the weekend.

Hi Elijah, I got your timelapse device but cant seem to install the drivers for win xp, I followed your info, and also can install the firmware update either..when I hold down the top left and top right button and then the down button it does not flash red, but the red light comes on all the time..bummer.

@Elijah, I am planning on upgrading from a Canon 550D to 7D sometime next year. Of course, I'd rather by an N3 connector when I have the actual new camera... Was wondering whether a cable such as this would work with the Timelapse+?

    42. Markus Seidl on August 15, 2012

      Hi Elijah,

I'm thinking about building my own panorama head. What would be the easiest way to interface from an arduino with Timelapse+?

    43. Stefan on August 10, 2012

      Hi there!

@Elijah: I've also backed the radian project. I'm curious whether the two products could "play together" via the Timelapse+'s auxiliary port? What exactly are the specifications of the aux port? The 2 products have different strengths and using them together makes sense (I think, otherwise, I'm just a compulsive KS backer :-) )

I've got a project opportunity that won't allow me to wait for my Timelapse+. Can anyone recommend a basic and CHEAP device that I could order while I'm waiting. The camera I'm using is a Canon 400D (XTi). Thanks in advance.

      Hi Elijah,

Looking forward to getting my hands on the Timelapse+ with the bulb ramping feature will this be comparable to the one done by Little Bramper using information from the Camera?

Keep up the good work! :)

    48. Elijah Parker 2-time Creator on July 11, 2012

@Jonathan - interesting, a few people have asked that! And yes, that can be done. It's already in my current test firmware.

    49. Jonathan Thomas Page on July 11, 2012

By any chance will the software come with a simple shutter release on button press feature? There are odd times I wish I had an off camera release and don't care much to buy one from Canon especially if I've got a Timelapse+ in my bag.

    50. Elijah Parker 2-time Creator on June 22, 2012

@anpena: yes, it's needed -- I want to verify each address before sending to it. Can you expound on what didn't work for you? The important thing is that you use the email address that's used for your kickstarter account.
