One of my bottles was broken as well. The two surviving bottle were the rose and flavored.

    2. Rohini Moradi Creator on May 2, 2014

Happily sending you a new bottle, Brenna. Which flavor was it?

    3. Brenna Hill on April 30, 2014

One bottle completely smashed, cracked/broken. The other two were fine. (It was the one in the middle).

    4. Rohini Moradi Creator on April 28, 2014

I am very sorry if you received cracked bottles. I did my best to make sure they were wrapped properly. The last thing I wanted was for anyone to receive broken bottles. Especially since the process has been so grueling. I will gladly send replacements.

    5. Kathleen L Clark on April 28, 2014

My bottle lids were both cracked too. One bottle is completely empty, the other partially. So disappointing.

So I received mine today but the lid was cracked enough that it kept most of it inside the bottle and some seeped out. It says to keep refrigerated on the bottle, I'm assuming that's after it's opened. So should I still be able to use what's left in the bottle?

Kathleen, I am sorry you see this as a bad experience. It has been a learning experience for me. Finding the correct ingredients (non-gmo and organic), and a bottling company that has all the equipment to mass produce my product has been a challenge. I have gone through about 12 different stevia distributors who have promised a clean product who couldn't back up their claims with a certificate. I have also taken my recipe and bottle to 3 different co-packing companies. I got ripped off at the first co-packing company, and pushed around at the second. I found Blossom Valley Foods (they make bragg's products) who are professional and have the equipment I need to produce. There are many bottling companies, but not all of them run batches for less than 500 cases (12 bottles in a case). I have done my best to keep a positive attitude through this process, and now I am close to the finish line. I really appreciate everyone's support. My kickstarter project is a start-up company. Start ups in food often have a difficult time for there are many small aspects that go into getting the ball to roll. I am happy to send off my hard labor and move my product along its path. All the luck to you. Hope the future projects you support on kickstrater don't run into as many obstacles as mine has.

This is my first bad experience on Kickstarter. I'm having a hard time believing any of the "updates," as they all are versions of the same thing.

    9. Rohini Moradi Creator on March 23, 2014

Hi backers, just posted an update! Hope you are all well :)

    10. Kris Panchyk on March 21, 2014

I've not received anything, and the last update was in January.

    11. Andrew Little on March 21, 2014

Has anyone received there product? Im trying to send an updated version of my address since we all filled out the backer survey 1 year ago. Rohini has been unresponsive.

Thank you for the update earlier this month. It's great to know what's going on and where you are in the product process. But I didn't see any new dates. I understand that you may not want to get pinned in to a new deadline, but, as a backer, I would love to have a rough idea of when you are hoping to get the syrups out. Do you have any idea about new delivery dates?

    18. Rohini Moradi Creator on November 8, 2013

No problem! Thank you for being honest :)

    19. Bron Faison on November 8, 2013

      Thanks for the update!

    20. Bron Faison on November 7, 2013

You need to update everyone on the expected shipping date for products. It's a mistake to not post updates on a regular basis on Kickstarter. Especially since you have already missed your promised shipping date.

People will understand if you are honest. Do the right thing.

    21. James E. on October 27, 2013

any update on when you will be shipping?

Any updates? Can't wait to try this in my summer ice tes

    23. Bron Faison on April 17, 2013

Congratulations on getting funded! I look forward to trying the syrups. They sound wonderful.

    24. HönyBädgr on April 15, 2013

Really excited to try all of this! I'm going to push to use it in a signature drink at the country club at which I bartend. We have a totally new bar opening in two months and these would be great additions for drink menu items!

A bit more about me..I was a bit hesitant to share this, but one of my main inspirations for creating this syrup was my mom. I grew up watching my mom struggling with her weight my whole life. She had a sweet tooth she couldn't control. It took a big toll on me growing up. I wanted her to be healthy... more than anything, I wanted her to be happy.

A few years ago she became diabetic... just like my grandmother (who also had an uncontrollable sweet tooth). This news broke my heart. On one hand I was mad at her because I wanted her to be healthy. I wanted her to control herself and live longer. On the other hand I understood that she really enjoys sweets and her life would be lacking without.

I thought long and hard for a solution. How can I replace her sodas, her cookies, her pastries with something that's good for her?

It came to me all at once. I wrote her an email and begged her to change her ways and replace her sugar with my syrups. She did. This was a year ago. Since then her blood sugar is back to normal, she's lost over a hundred pounds, and she's happy... and HEALTHY. She has so much energy these days. Her smile looks like it's coming from pure happiness these days. I'm so proud of her. She's finally herself.

We've reached 10% of our goal! How exciting! Thank you all for your support! Cheers to reaching 20%!

As a type I diabetic who likes making cocktails, this is pretty interesting. Looking forward to how they taste in an Old Fashioned.
