Gameplay and Setup Video:
Risks and challenges
Imperia Games has launched projects in the past on Kickstarter, including an earlier version of Grand Tactics and Gladiator: SPQR. Neither projects reached their funding goals, but from those campaigns we learned and developed our presentation. With Eric, the Kickstarter team leader heading the campaign, Imperia Games was able to successfully fund Colony Clash: Insect Warfare in 2013, and that is set to ship this coming February.
Dan Pueblo and the rest of the Imperia Games team were excited to see their game go out to tabletop players, but knew that they wouldn't be able to completely celebrate until the game reached backers successfully. While some delays arose, (such as a typhoon in the Philippines), they pushed on with the game production. Now Colony Clash is out of their hands and waiting for the printer and distrubutor to help their games reach the backers.
Ever on the move, Dan and the team were eager to revisit one of their first projects, Grand Tactics. Incorporating feedback from testers and game creators, they are proud to present the newly revamped Grand Tactics tabletop game!
Clearly, while lack of funding may slow down a game's production, Imperia Games believes in the games they create and want to share them with players everywhere. The largest hurdles have been in properly presenting the games and reaching the backers needed to be successfully funded.
Beyond that, final printed products may differ from the products posted here, as some technical difficulties or size issues may occur in the production such products. As with every project, development delays, man power shortages, back-end technical problems or difficulties or general production problem could delay production. We do our best to work around or through should such things every come up, but we are only human in the end.

We love to work with backers to make our games the best they can be. Play testing and feedback from backers is invaluable to the production of tabletop games and the resulting changes may shape the game as it improves.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
