I am a professional comic book artist having worked for some of today's top publishers in popular media, including MTV Networks, Capcom, Marvel, NAMCO Bandai, and WWE Magazine. But, I am alone now in procuring the funds for my first independent project, my art book The Rogues Gallery. Featuring 100% creator owned content, The Rogues Gallery will be a 100+ page, 8.5x11 inch hardcover book showcasing the best of my themed personal work from the last 3-4 years.
What does the book mean to me?
It has always been a dream of mine to release a book containing my characters. They have been the perfect outlet for me to express myself creatively without any restrictions. I've worked and reworked these designs for as long as I can remember. Drawing these characters has helped me grow tremendously.
Artists who proudly show their own creations, mini comics, and personal art books at comic conventions continually inspire me. If The Rogues Gallery gets funded, it will mean that I finally have creator owned content to show at conventions alongside my client work.
The Rogues Gallery will be broken down into 4 galleries, the character model sheets gallery, the art gallery, guest artists gallery, and sketch gallery. Here is a run down on the 4 sections of the book -
The meat of the book will be the character model sheets. I have about 4 more to go before the list of characters is complete. This section will include front and back full-body shots of 24 original character designs.
The Art Gallery will feature the characters in mock comic covers, illustrations, movie posters, etc.
The Guest Artist gallery is personally, my favorite section.
It will feature illustrations from some of the industry's finest creators and artists. See how my characters look as they're drawn by other professionals! It is an amazing honor to have all of these artists in the book. The love and care they put into these pieces really blows me away.

The Sketch Gallery will be an in-depth look at my work process. You'll see rough sketches, inked versions of pieces, and designs that didn't make the cut into the list.
You'll also see amazing preliminary sketches and ideas from some of the guest artists.
Now that you know what will be inside the book, here's the honest truth: I can't do this project without YOUR help. Your partnership is extremely important. The massive support I received from family, friends, and fans throughout the years means the world to me. But without your financial support, this book won't see the light of day. So with your help, hopefully we'll get this book printed!
But don't worry, supporters won't go home empty handed. I'm trying my best to offer as many rewards as possible. From head sketches to affordable original pages, hopefully there will be something that sparks your interest! Please browse through the rewards!
Current Stretch Goal Plans
A close friend of mine recently educated me on the right and wrong ways of approaching stretch goals. Improving the physical book itself would be the best route to take. So for now, I decided to stay away from stickers, keychains, bookmarks, etc.
I hope the list of current stretch goals interest you guys! Please take the time to look through. Thanks!
REACHED! @ $8,000 USD - The Rogues Gallery Art Book will be professionally translated into Japanese. The translating will be done by one of the world's best and renowned Japanese/English translators. And don't worry, the English text and Japanese text will be in the same exact book. The Japanese text will just be in finer size font.
REACHED! @10,000 USD - There are currently 22 amazing guest artists in the book. I'll commission out 5 more artists if the 10k mark gets reached. Guest artists don't come cheap, which is rightfully so! All guest artists will be prominently credited alongside their work in the book.
REACHED! @12,000 USD - Spot gloss cover! A nice matted hardcover with spot gloss title and characters to make the book pop! The idea came straight from the Locke & Key and Skullkickers graphic novels.
REACHED! @13,500 USD - 5 more guest artists! If the $13,500 mark gets hit, that'll bring the total of guests to 32! A couple of artists did multiple pieces too, so the guest artist gallery will be even more jam packed than expected.
(LOCKED) @15,000 USD - An extra print for everyone who pledges $50 or more! These prints will be made exclusively for this Kickstarter campaign.
A big fat THANK YOU to everyone for taking the time to browse through this whole Kickstarter. You have no idea how much your support means to me. And please share this project with as many of your friends as possible.

Risks and challenges
Whether it was an art trade, friendly gesture, or commission, it took a lot of time and labor to get the Guest Artist gallery completed. I truly believe paying artists is a priority.
Since that is out of the way, the biggest task right now is just to get my side of the deal done. I have to wrap up the remaining character designs, get the book laid out and printed. I'll also have to deal with shipping these books out as well. But I feel confident that everything will run smoothly!
