More video!

Posted by Edward Ford (Creator)

Hi all! Here's another video of ShapeOko in action. As you can see the machine is *almost* fully assembled. However, as they say, they devil is in the details, and there are still plenty of little details to iron out.

A couple of things to note:

  • The z-axis is not functional at this point
  • The belt clamps are temporary (obviously)
  • The wire organization is less than optimal!
  • This thing looks sweet!

@Enrique: We're working day and night on this thing. I can't promise anyone when the final product will be done, but can promise that when it's ready, it's going to be awesome!

At the moment I'm waiting for some very boring M3 x 50mm bolts to arrive along with other assorted hardware. I'm hoping to have another video up in a few days with the mill actually (*hold your breath*) cutting something.!

Will be nice when I finally receive it and begin milling stuff. Any idea about when will the machine be finished?

Thanks for the love! It's nice to know there are other people as excited about this as we are!
