New Backer Level, Playing with Dies
We are only $2 shy of reaching our first $5,000 and that is AGONY! But as we get near the end of the first 5 days of the campaign, I can say it's been an amazing ride so far. And I'll cross my fingers to see if someone will push us over $5K before the end of the day. :)
You probably don't stalk my KS campaign to see if anything has changed, so I wanted to mention that I added a new backer level called "Pep Squad." This is in honor of someone who really wanted to get a new machine but only wanted TWO dies. So now, there's a way to do that. Do you have ideas of other potential rewards you'd like to see?
With all this going on, I've been playing around with the Sunburst die, and came up with a cute idea for an ice cream cone! I'll show it to you, but please ignore the coloring. I just pulled some blocks I'd made and some scrap fabric out of a bin and went to town.
This is super cute, isn't it? I don't normally like doing applique, but trust me - if you saw some of my early experiments in piecing using a Drunkard's Path shape... you'd do this as applique too.
I have also been playing with a deconstructed Key West project. It reminds me so much of a knitted sweater!
It's fun to see how different color placement and use of the shapes really creates some dynamic shapes!
I'm having fun and I hope you are too! Have a fabulous weekend, and if you wouldn't mind sharing this campaign with your friends, we can keep this fun going until we meet again in the next update! :)
