About this project
STRETCH GOAL #1:
If we hit $2000, we're going to record an ENTIRELY ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK! And anyone who donates over $30 gets a free download of it!
Meet Tommy: He's a writer. Unfortunately words aren't something he's very good with, especially when it comes to dealing with other people. He wants to do good, he wants to be good, but sometimes things aren't that simple.
THE SECOND SEASON
In its second season, "RED RHAPSODY" finds Tommy dealing with a couch surfer, unrequited love, friends, women, and even some family.
The season will be exactly 10 episodes long.

EAST INDIE FILMS is a group of hardworking folk who want to make a name for themselves in film and/or television.
In 2010, our first short: "The Face in the Dark" aired on PBS.
In 2011, our first feature film: "BEE DEAD" premiered at the Lillian Gish theater, and ran for half a year on Bowling Green State University's official film channel.
Also in 2011, "RED RHAPSODY" season 1 aired on youtube.
In 2012, our short film adaption of the short story: "The Cartographer's Girl" had a festival run, and won a few awards, such as "Best Director" for Philip Hirzel.
Also in 2012, we shot a series of music videos with musician Cory Breth.
Why Should You Donate?
At East Indie Films, we believe in doing things ourselves. That's how we've always done it, and how we've been able to bring such a unique voice to our projects. But we also believe in communitas. In a group of people coming together to make something possible. To be honest, we just can't do this alone. Filmmaking isn't cheap, and one or two people can't just fund it all themselves. But with the help of many, we can.
Your donations will go directly into our budget, to help secure and lock down locations. To acquire the camera, and equipment necessary to make this project. For transportation, and other production costs. To pay actors, and crew, who will be donating over a week of their time to film this series.
If you donate, it won't just be East Indie's production, but our production. Your's just as much as anyone else's. You'll be helping us achieve our dreams, and you'll be able to take just as much pride in it as we will. Because without you, this won't be possible.
Any left over funding will be put into our future projects.
