You and the other players work at Loop, Incorporated, the most prestigious time travel agency in the world................................
Well, uh, that’s not entirely true. Truth be told, it’s a mismanaged, third-tier agency owned by the slick Mr. Loop (you met him in the video above) who cares more about making a buck than making sure the delicate weave of the time-space continuum stays tight and safe.
For you and your coworkers, it’s as good a job as any. However, if you time things just right you may get a nice bonus at the end of the day, unknown to Mr. Loop, of course. And since you have a time machine at your disposal, you can take multiple shots at that bonus…assuming things don’t get too chaotic with your past selves running around.
The game is played over the course of three days, with each day actually being the same day, but a different time through it. During the first day, players will get to perform three actions and send out their one time machine. Actions include gathering components, setting up advertising, and more. Then, at the end of the day, players jump into their time machines and return to the beginning to start the day over again.
The catch is, when players go back in time to try the day again, their past selves are still running around. This means they’ll have to perform all the actions from the previous version of the day, as well as three new ones. They’ll also have an additional ship to launch. On the third try, things compound even further… making timing key. At the end of the third day, the player who completed the most profitable trips wins, provided they didn’t cause too many tears in the space time continuum.

Add more variability into the game with more Anomalies! Every time you go back in time, anomalies are added to the game, and now there are more possibilities.
Instead of going back in time, you have the option of going into the future. Futures add a bit more complexity to the game, as each future trip allows you to take a bonus action. If you play the future right, you can unlock some fantastic combinations!
The Office Cards replace the simple Trash action in the game. Now, instead of removing components in order prevent the loss of points, you can time your actions to GAIN points. These add a bit more planning to your game, so be careful!

Butterfly Effects Stretch Goal for $50,000!
3 Placards. One each listed as "-1", "+1", and "+2". These are placed above the furthest back trip cards, face-down. When that trip card is visited, the player picks up the placard, and places it face up on a trip card that's later in the timeline. A face-up placard affects both trips on a trip card and rewards or subtracts points at the end of the game. A trip card may not have more than one placard above it. If a placard cannot be moved, then it remains on the trip that it was originally placed on. At the end of the game, players gain and lose points based on whether they have traveled to the trips with Butterfly Effects.

How do I add these "Add-Ons" to my pledge?
You simply add the amount of money needed to purchase any of the add-ons games to the amount of your pledge! You can always change the amount of your pledge (while the KS project is active) by using the "Manage My Pledge" button.
Where or how do I indicate the specific item(s) I have added-on?
About 7-14 days after this KS project ends we will send you a survey and ask you to indicate exactly how to allocate your pledge between the base game and the add-ons offered here. You will be in touch with our Pledge Manager, Ruth Cumberbatch, until you both have all the details of your pledge and shipping worked out.
Scott Almes is best known as the designer of the popular Tiny Epic series (Editor note: produced by our mutual friends, Michael and Nate, at Gamelyn Games) as well as other hit games such as Harbour, Martian Dice, and Best Treehouse Ever. He lives in Pittsburgh with his wonderful wife Beth, where he works as a Product Development Engineer. In between the cracks of engineering and game design, he loves to write stories. So far, he has not been able to unlock the secrets of time travel, but like others he suspects it has to do with driving commercially failed cars around courthouses in a lightning storm. We will ship US orders from our Eagle-Gryphon Games warehouse in Kentucky; Canadian orders from Board Games Bliss in Ontario; Australian orders from The Games Capital in Canberra; and Asian orders from our warehouse in Shenzhen, China (mainland). Many EU orders will ship from our warehouse in Enschede, The Netherlands and some might be shipped directly from your home country, if other print partners join us very soon!

Canadian shipping is $12 for one game, Australian shipping is $15 for one game. Germany and The Netherlands and France are only $12 shipping; the UK is $17. EU shipping varies a lot by country, as does the rest of the world!
It has been our experience that many people (including sophisticated international Kickstarter Backers) frequently confuse "shipping" expense and "postage" expense. What we try to cover with the above fees (in part) is shipping expenses, not just postage. Postage is the actual charge your country's postal service (or UPS, FedEx, etc) charges us to deliver a package within that country.
Shipping is far more comprehensive and includes: getting the container shipped to the US, or the EU, or Australia; the Customs and VAT (or equivalent) and other import fees and taxes; the drayage from the port to the warehouse (not cheap!); the warehouse fees to unload and sort out and prepare packages; the materials and labor involved in the last item; fees to the warehouse for their service to us, and only after all of that, the postage! We need to cover all of those costs--and they really add up. Frequently they cost as much or more than the game(s) did to produce.
When we combine a low margin price (such as this one we are offering on Loop, Inc) with this shipping expense, we do not make any profit if we are not very careful. The shipping we are charging for this project is as low as we can make it and still stay in business. Internationally, for two or more games, get in touch with us and tell us the total of how many games you want and which ones; and where you would like them shipped.

We will not ship to Russia, the Ukraine and select other places except for specially-made arrangements wherein the Backer takes the risk involved in receiving the package.
Risks and challenges
Eagle-Gryphon Games stands by our products. If there are issues with your game, please contact our customer service department within 90 days of receiving your copy of LOOP, Inc. We will take every step necessary to get you exactly what you pledged for.
Shipping issues are relatively uncommon, but they do sometimes occur, especially when shipping to destinations outside of the US. We will obtain tracking information when it is possible, but sometimes it is not. We cannot guarantee that there will not be shipping problems, as we cannot guarantee the service and reliability of the various postal/delivery services involved around the world. You will have to assume that risk along with us.
Eagle-Gryphon Games has completed 50 Kickstarter projects to date. 43 of those projects have either completed delivery or they are in the midst of it right now! Six projects, successfully completed on Kickstarter within the past 5 months include--the 12 Days of Christmas, King's Kilt, Krakatoa, Dead Man's Chest, Seven7s, and Clockwork Wars. All of those games have just been delivered to our warehouse in the past two days and are in the midst of being delivered now!
Other games are on the ocean -- e.g Empires: Age of Discovery and Tumblin' Dice, or in the midst of production -- e.g. Wombat Rescue, Floating Market, Xenon Profiteer, Dexikon and Taluva Deluxe.
We keep Backers notified by Updates about the status of their projects. We deliver on our promises reliably and usually on time (the very few delays we have ever had were related to production schedule issues and/or transport issues such as weather and dock strikes, which we have only, at best, partial or NO control over).
To put it simply, you will get everything you are promised when you pledge to one of our Kickstarter Projects, and it will be delivered to you in as timely a manner as possible.
