We just passed the first 12 hours of the campaign and we must say we are blown away by the support for this project. We want to make Age of Steam: Deluxe the best edition we can of the game, but we can't do it without your support. We have unlocked the first Stretch Goal map, France, and are closing in fast on the second Stretch Goal as we speak!

Livestream March 18th

Heavy Cardboard will be hosting a livestream of Age of Steam: Deluxe Edition on March 18th.  Edward and crew will be showing off the new look with a prototype copy of the game. More details to come.

Board Detail

A few backers have asked about the graphic design of the boards in this new Deluxe Edition so we wanted to share a detail image of one of the boards. You'll notice the entire board has a very subtle texture pattern and the water hexes have a distinct pattern as well. We are really pleased with the look of this new edition.

Will someone other than Heavy Cardboard do a video for your game before the kickstarter closes?

Gotcha. And thanks for the quick response!

@Sharkey - Unfortunately, recessed boards would increase the cost outside the budget for this project. We need to keep the price at a certain point or the project just doesn't work out.

Any chance we could get recessed boards for the inner parts of those boards so all those cubes and disks don't shift?

The graphic design for the boards are perfect, change nothing.
