About

LEARN: Tags will offer users multiple game modes that are all centered around graffiti and street art. Users will be immersed in a dystopian world where the government has outlawed creativity and has been brainwashing its citizens. The main game’s stealth missions are all about spray painting over mind-controlling signals without being seen. There will be items to help users stay hidden from the state’s surveillance and bring their painting to new heights. If users would rather create their own graffiti art without disruption, practice mode allows a safe and realistic simulation of spray painting. Users will even be able to share their art onto social media. Another cool feature of LEARN: Tags is the use of an in-game currency to customize characters and unlock more painting features and levels. We are excited for users to explore our unique in-game environments and take their graffiti to new lengths.

Stealth mode is the single player main game adventure of LEARN: Tags. It is in this mode that users will complete missions, collect spray cans, and gain in-game currency to customize their character, upgrade their painting supplies, and unlock more levels.
When you begin, you will work to complete the first mission and then choose where you will go next. In this mode you may need to run from drones and stay hidden from cameras, or collect specific items that will help you accomplish the mission objectives. Throughout the different cities and levels, players will see marks for their missions and detailed information on what they will need to paint in order to earn more in-game currency and to advance to the next level.

In this mode, players will be safe from any drones chasing them or cameras spotting them. Users will have unlimited time to make a full color piece, with all of the modern graffiti painting techniques and physics that we are developing. The spots where players paint will be defined on the level map, ranging from brick walls, city buses, windows, concrete walls, and more. Users will be able to use supplies from fatcaps & skinny caps to super fat caps and even caps that are not seen in the real world. This mode encourages players to test all of their collected items throughout the levels and have fun while creating their own unique street art.

Our team wants LEARN: Tags to be as interactive as possible. Our in-game missions will be engaging and exciting, but we want users to have a chance to have a voice in the gameplay as well. Users will have the opportunity to challenge one another to in-game missions that they create and share over our game's website. If someone completes another user's mission, they can share-out an in-game capture to our website and social media to prove they bested someone's challenge.

8-10 Expansive and Unique Levels to Explore:
LEARN: Tags will include 8-10 unique and robust levels (Free Digital Download vs. Free Expanded Digital Download) that users explore and progress through within the game. Each city will have its own set of individualized missions and challenges to complete, helping make our game a constant thrill-ride from start to finish.

Character Customization and Item Upgrades:
Users will earn in-game currency by completing missions and challenges in Stealth Mode. The currency earned can be spent on user customization features. These features include different character clothes/looks, types of painting supplies, and unlocking new levels.

Social Media Sharing:
Users will have the opportunity to share their in-game graffiti art onto social media. Showcasing their talents and artistic voice to a multitude of online communities.

Discover Hidden Items to Complete Missions:
Users will be able to find and earn hidden items throughout levels that can help them complete specific and challenging missions. These features range from finding a jet pack and flying to great heights for completing city skyline missions to earning a cloaking device or super-fast sneakers to sneak and run past the most dangerous zones of a level.

Our soundtrack will feature many up and coming underground and indie artists. We want to give an opportunity to artists who don't typically have a large platform of exposure. The music of LEARN: Tags will capture the overall theme of the game and give volume to voices that are usually unheard. If you are, or know any great artists that would be interested, feel free to leave a comment or communication with our team so we can connect with them.

We've contacted numerous graffiti and street artists, whose work we love and follow, in hopes they would take part in our game. These artists really liked the idea of our game and gladly sent us their art to be programmed as virtual graffiti into the environments of LEARN:Tags. Currently, artists from all around the world have contributed, including: DMARK, CANTWO SUK, Chas LoveLetters Crew, David Zinn, Peque VRS, RASKO, East CMS, XPOME, Phameux, POZE, Sten DUC, Ozone CMS, Pyrotechnix Crew, Esteo, ME Click, 140 Ideas, Okna Das, Deik Das, Lost Das, Glow Graff, Konte1, Jasir, Fener and more.

Kickstarter has given life to many projects that are innovative and exciting which would normally not have a chance to get off the ground. Kickstarter funding also allows for the developers to have 100% creative prerogative in how they design their game. This will allow our team to make big decisions about the game without the direction of any companies or agendas other than the creativity of you, our funders, and us.

We are raising funds to support our artists and programmers in their development of LEARN: Tags. They will be re-adjusting daily schedules to solely dedicate their time in making our game as fun and refined as possible. All of our programmers have experience designing and producing ground breaking games that capture modern technologies and the cutting edge of today's gaming world. From games pushing the limits of body movement recognition to interactive world environments, our team will have the proper funding to build LEARN: Tags into an engaging universe with hyper-realistic spray painting physics and breath-taking missions. Additionally, our funding will also go to meeting traveling costs, reward merchandise, advertising, and taxes/fees.

Risks and challenges
Our biggest challenge is also one of our team's most intriguing qualities...We are all living in different countries from one another. We have members in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Bulgaria. When we initially formed our team, this was a potential roadblock that we were mindful of and created specific protocols to address it. Our communication is regular and we utilize best practices of remote collaboration. During the development of LEARN: Tags, sustaining an already successful form of communication will be key for the success of our project.
Another potential risk is the difficulty in creating the most realistic spray painting physics as possible. There are many subtleties in the science behind spray painting and to capture that in a digital form has many challenges. Our head programmer, Steve, is up to that challenge. Steve is the CEO of an innovative technology company that has won many awards and recognition of excellence. Steve always finds a way to develop exciting and groundbreaking gaming experiences with each new challenge he sets his mind to. Our team is excited to embrace this potential risk and deliver a quality spray painting experience with hyper-realistic physics.
