THE CLOCKWORK WITCH
by Michelle D. Sonnier
The seventh daughter of a seventh daughter, Arabella is destined to disappoint, when she was expected to shine. Though she descends from a long line of gifted witches she has earned the moniker of a "brown bud" showing no sign of magical talent.
When it truly seems her lot can grow no worse, she discovers an unnatural affinity for...of all things...technology. Not only are the mysteries of the mechanical world open to her, but her new-found ability allows her to manipulate them, making her the first ever clockwork witch and anathema to the nature of the witching world.
How will she come to grips with her new power when she must question if she will survive the judgement of her family and her peers?
by Jeff Young
The Kassandra Leyden Adventures
The Leydens were people of extraordinary means. The father a well-known adventurer. The mother a spiritualist oft consulted by the government of New Britain. The daughter, Kassandra, inherent of both the skill and sense of adventure that made her parents great.
But when her mother vanishes without a trace, and her father turns toward spirits of a fluid nature as he loses himself in memory, Kassandra is left to find her own way and purpose. She quickly learns a sense of caution as she discovers there is as much intrigue as adventure about the world she lives in. And not all those she’s had faith in are to be trusted.
With the whispers of spirits in her ear and unlikely allies at her back, Kassandra strives to defend both the living and the departed…after all…
It’s the Spirit of the matter…
AFTER PUNK: STEAMPOWERED TALES OF THE AFTERLIFE
edited by Danielle Ackley-McPhail and Greg Schauer
While mankind can scarce hope to pierce the Veil without crossing it, a few intrepid souls will ever bend their will against the aether, combining artifice and the arcane to uncover its secrets.

Quick Explanation: Kickstarter doesn't really have an intuitive way to do add-ons, and the process can be confusing, so here's a quick explanation. To add one of the below onto your current pledge, just click on the "Manage Your Pledge" button at the top right of the page, click in the "Pledge Amount" box, and change the pledge amount to reflect the addition of the amount of the add-on you want.
Example: if your current pledge amount is $10, and you want to add a $5 add-on, you would click into the "Pledge Amount" box and change the pledge amount to $15. At the end of the Kickstarter, we'll send out a questionnaire to find out what add-ons you contributed for.
NOTES: all ebooks listed available in .epub, mobi, or .pdf, unless indicated. Also, we can autograph a book to whomever you want and you can order more than one copy of the same book when doing an add-on.
$5 - Add a DRM-Free digital copy of The Clockwork Witch, Spirit Seeker, or After Punk to your pledge.
$10 – Add DRM-Free digital copies of the Jeffrey Lyman eShorts collection: The Fall of Autumn, Lord of Fire, Lord of Wind, and The Troll King to your pledge.
$20 – Upgrade your digital copy of The Clockwork Witch, Spirit Seeker, or After Punk to a print copy.
$25/$5 – Add a print or DRM-free ebook copy of the eSpec Books title of your choice to your order (The Sister Paradox, POST, Gaslight and Grimm, Best of Bad-Ass Faeries, In the Lamplight, The Weird Wild West, The Side of Good/The Side of Evil, The Society for the Preservation of CJ Henderson, Issue in Doubt, In All Directions, Dogs of War, Man and Machine, If We Had Known, Best of DTF, Awakened Modern, OR The Die Is Cast). Multiply by the number of titles desired if you want more than one. They make great gifts! (Includes domestic shipping. If you're a backer outside the U.S. who has backed at a level that does not include shipping, please add $25 for shipping.)

Much to his embarrassment, Bernie Mojzes has outlived Lord Byron, Percy Shelley, Janice Joplin and the Red Baron, without even once having been shot down over Morlancourt Ridge. Having failed to achieve a glorious martyrdom, he has instead turned his hand to the penning of paltry prose (a rather wretched example of which you currently hold in your hands), in the pathetic hope that he shall here find the notoriety that has thus far proven elusive. His work has appeared in a number of anthologies and magazines, including Bad-Ass Faeries II and III, Gaslight & Grimm, Betwixt Magazine, Daily Science Fiction, and What Lies Beneath. In his copious free time, he published and co-edited Unlikely Story (www.unlikely-story.com) and the ever-timely Clowns: The Unlikely Coulrophobia Remix, as well as editing The Flesh Made Word for Circlet Press. Should Pity or perhaps a Perverse Curiosity move you to seek him out, he can be found at http://www.kappamaki.com.

Travis I. Sivart writes Steampunk, Social DIY, Science Fiction, Medieval Fantasy, Young Adult, Speculative Fiction, Horror, and more in the forms of poetry, short stories in more than a dozen anthologies, full-length novels, as well as editorials on manners, pipe smoking, and medieval re-enactment. He began writing in his early teens and his creativity flourished with the help of fantasy role-playing games.
Travis's writing style has been described as true storytelling, with the feel of sitting next to a fireplace and listening to a tale from a favorite uncle. His writing style has been described as a blend of Stephen King's character development, George RR Martin's world building, and Mark Twain's wit.
Oh, and for three minutes, he was a King.

Risks and challenges
Two of these books are already edited and entering the final production phase, the other has begun the process, but we do not have a manuscript on hand, as of yet. However, we have edited and published many anthologies and while delays are possible, we do not anticipate anything to seriously hinder the project. We have a proven track record when it comes to funding and completing projects.
Whatever happens, we will communicate fully along the way.uLearn about accountability on Kickstarter
