Tarzan®: Lord of the Jungle Board Game (Canceled)
In Tarzan®: Lord of the Jungle Board Game, 1-4 players cooperatively take to the jungles of Africa to search for the lost city of Opar.
In this cooperative game for 1-4 players, Tarzan®, Jane, and their party seek the Lost City of Opar. Along their journey, they must chart a path through the jungle and brave its many perils, including Belgian slavers and savage half-humans known as Oparians.
During the day phase, journey through the jungle and engage in tactical battles against a variety of enemies. Then, at night, rest for the next day or use special Night Actions in your location to push your luck for bonuses such as new equipment.
The original Lord of the Jungle® returns! If you thought you knew the story, think again! For the first time in its 100-year history the classic Edgar Rice Burroughs story, Tarzan® of The Apes, is told - UNCENSORED! This series captures the savagery and action of the original while expanding on it with new elements! The story begins in the late 1800s, as John Clayton, Lord of Greystoke, and his wife, the Lady Alice, are left stranded on a remote African coast. They must fend for themselves in this savage world, and the fact that Lady Alice is pregnant doesn't make things any easier!
The complete saga (388 pages!) of Greystoke begins here, written by Arvid Nelson and illustrated by Roberto Castro, and featuring covers by Alex Ross, Lucio Parrillo, Ryan Sook, and Paul Renaud.

Lynnvander and Dynamite continue their partnership for this game, with the goal of delivering you the best board game experience for Tarzan® Lord of the Jungle. We have gone to Kickstarter for two main reasons:
Primarily, we have taken the game to a point where it is very nearly done, and ready for manufacturing. We have gone to Kickstarter to ensure that fans have a voice in the stretch goals and expansions. Both Dynamite and Lynnvander have a history of delivering for their fanbase, and we wanted to continue that here.
The second concern is the not so glamourous reality of running a creative business. A Kickstarter allows us to gauge interest in the game and the expansions, helping to predict the number that should be manufactured and delivered into the world. It also helps us predict the demand for expansions, and how to ensure that they are delivered and of interest to our fans.
Kickstarter creates an entirely new, more democratic, relationship between creators and fans, and we want to be a part of that.
Risks and challenges
We've come a long way and have learned a lot about Kickstarter and game manufacturing in general but challenges still come up.
There are certain risks that, even with the absolute best management in the world, we can't do away with. Weird things can happen in customs, creatures can emerge from beyond time and space, the usual things outside of human control.
What we can assure you is that we have experience with distribution, working with our partners, handling IP issues, and making amazing artwork. Lynnvander Studios has worked on several board games both on and off of Kickstarter, ensuring that the quality meets our exacting standards and we can deliver the best game possible to you.
The project coming to Kickstarter is nearly complete, with manufacturers already lined up and art assets functionally finalized. We've planned for all the eventualities that we can, and we can assure you that when this project funds, we can deliver everything to you.
With your help spreading the word on Facebook, Twitter, and your favorite social media outlets we can create awesome board games for everyone to enjoy!
