Welcome to the spine-tingling world of ReAnimator: a table top game of horror and mad science. You and your friends take on the role of assistants to the mad genius Herbert West. Travelling around the ill-begotten town of Arkham, Massachusetts, you will gather musty Tomes, mysterious Ingredients, and even Cadavers of the recently deceased for your dark work. And what work would that be? To turn back death itself!
Up to four players will work together taking on the role of the narrator from Lovecraft’s original story in order to perfect the protagonist’s experimental reanimation formula. Classic characters including Herbert West, the City Watch, and the Undead wander through Arkham to help or hinder the players as they undertake their profane task. Subplots will develop through gameplay, forcing players to respond to new adventures and challenges only the world of the ReAnimator can provide!
Minor stretch goals will be in the form of free new cards, components and more which will add to your gaming experience.
Major stretch goals focus on new thematic story arcs to maximize replay value and flavor each game in a whole new way.

Lynnvander and Dynamite have developed a brand new partnership for this game, with the goal of delivering to you the best board game experience for ReAnimator. We have gone to Kickstarter for two main reasons.
Primarily, we have gotten the game to a point that it is very nearly done. There are still expansions to develop, and other ways we can hone and make the game a gift to the fans. We have gone to Kickstarter to ensure that fans have a voice in this process. Both Dynamite and Lynnvander have a history of delivering for their fanbase, and we wanted to continue that here.
The second concern is the not so glamourous realities of running a creative business. A Kickstarter allows us to gauge interest in the game and the expansions, helping to predict the number that should be manufactured and delivered into the world. It also helps us predict the demand for expansions, and how to ensure that they are delivered and of interest to our fans.
Kickstarter creates an entirely new, more democratic, relationship between creators and fans, and we want to be a part of that.
Risks and challenges
We've come a long way and have learned a lot about Kickstarter and game manufacturing in general but challenges still come up.
There are certain risks that, even with the absolute best management in the world, we can't do away with. Weird things can happen in customs, creatures can emerge from beyond time and space, the usual things outside of human control.
What we can assure you is that Dynamite Entertainment has experience with distribution, working with their partners, handling IP issues, and making amazing artwork. Lynnvander Studios has worked on several board games both on and off of Kickstarter, ensuring that the quality meets our exacting standards and we can deliver the best game possible to you. The project is coming to Kickstarter nearly complete, with manufacturers already lined up and art assets functionally finalized. We've planned for all the eventualities that we can, and we can assure you that when this project funds, we can deliver everything to you.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
