The funding campaign has ended, which means the kickstarter rewards have too.
But don't worry, you can now pre-order the retail version of everything at our website.
First things first! Go to www.touchedon.com for all the extras and Melbourne quirk. There you can read more about our characters, design your own undercover inspector and DING! DING!
A tabletop party game for 2 or more players where you 'accidentally' abuse Melbourne's public transport network.
Trams, Trains, Buses & People
In Touched On, your goal is to get your characters home or out to that rad new restaurant you just saw on Broadsheet, without touching on and without getting caught!
Certain characters can only catch a certain tram or bus line, while others are a bit more flexible with their fare evading approach. Allowing for some close to the chest tactics, I'm from out-of-town bluffing and Steven Bradbury finishes.
Authorised & Undercover
Inspectors or M8's as we like to call them are dealt out to each player at the start of the round, getting caught by one means you must collect all of the character cards currently in that carriage. Putting them back into your hand to start their journey to cheap dumplings all over again.
There are more Power cards than can be played in one round, keeping you on your toes as you might never know exactly what Melbourne and the other commuters are gonna do.
Power cards are both obtained and played throughout a round. Players can stock up by:
- Filling up a tram line to max capacity.
- Successfully Inspecting someone.
- Not being able to play any cards from your hand.
- Random events like a sand storm or white night.
- Full Colour PDF ready to play before the campaign ends.

We’ve always thought of Public Transport as a bit of a game in itself, which we play as we brace against tornadoes of tram sand, get spat out of the city loop, leap-frog trams for the fastest route, and pick out the undercover inspector in the crowd before it’s too late.
And while we always make sure we’re Touched On, we’ve often wondered if fare evading could be worth it, and if the savings could outweigh the odd fine.
As commuters ourselves, Public Transport is so embedded into our way of life. We’ve payed for the ticket to ride this big old rickety network with little say on how it works or the rules around it. All we can do is make fun of it.

Risks and challenges
Drawing from our experience as designers in the print industry, and some thorough research. We believe we have what it take to produce a high quality game for you. We're planning on producing Touched On with the same company that printed Cards Against Humanity, which is just about the best you can get.
As for the rest of the rewards such as the socks and the colouring book, these will be made locally in Melbourne which will speed everything up and allow us to keep a closer eye on everything.
SHIPPING & FULFILMENT
Shipping can add significant delays, And can sometimes get out of control. We'll be accounting for anything that goes missing by producing extras. Other than that, there could be slight delays. Our main objective here is to be as open and honest with the backers throughout the whole process.
For our European backers, shipping to you can be more costly due to import duties and customs fees. Luckily we've got friends over there! Which will allow us to ship everything from within the EU.
We'll be getting paid in AUD, but we'll be paying the producers of the cards in USD. This means that a big change in the exchange rate could put us below budget (or give us some extra cash spend!)
The socks and colouring book will be made in Melbourne, so we don't need to worry about them.
