About this project

Infinity’s Kitchen is a graphic literary journal of experimental writing and art. The publication is online and in print. This is the kind of place where anything can happen. It is a creative place, as all kitchens are, but it is also a laboratory. The main idea is that you could think of a work of literature or art as the product of a recipe. We’re interested in trying new recipes, and sharing them with others who might want to cook up something similar. More formally, you could say that we're interested in the intersections between conceptual art and literature.

So far, we’ve been able to publish four issues, run a website and to hold two exciting events, filled with literature, discussion and performance art.  We’ve sold out of 2 of our printed issues, and the third one is doing well. Our website grows in popularity every day and we’ve got plenty of good submissions coming in.

All of this was funded out-of-pocket, at first, because we weren’t sure whether the project would “work”. It does seem to be working!

We need your help to keep going.

The the fourth issue is finished and it looks great but we haven't had funds to print it. The fifth issue, which we're putting together right now, will be our largest issue yet, and we'd like to print that, too. If you back this project, you'll be helping us to print what we've made and to setup a component of our website which will allow readers to order the issues they want, and to have them mailed right to their door. More than all that, you'll be supporting the artists and writers who rely on this unique venue to showcase their unique work.
