Good news! We expect to start shipping your Priority Start bicycles this Friday. We plan to have them all shipped out by Tuesday. If you backed for a bicycle and have not received a tracking email from us by Tuesday, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
All domestic bikes will ship via UPS. We strongly recommend that you set up a UPS My Choice account
(free) to help better control your delivery date. International bikes will ship via UPS and DHL and can be tracked via the links provided in your ship confirmation email.
As a reminder, in our testing of our production training wheel knobs, we found that some of the knobs were separating from the axle nut that they hold. While this still made the knobs usable, we weren’t happy with the quality of such an important feature. So, we went ahead and made an additional set of knobs for every customer, and we QC’d each knob, one at a time, to ensure no separation.
Since your bike box is packed very tightly, and since it’s easier to add than remove to the box, we’re packing an additional set of training wheel knobs in each box with a bright yellow sheet of paper that describes why you have a second set of knobs. This paper also contains the correct instructions for installation (the original instructions were not well written), and recommends that you discard the original set of knobs. Again, please discard the original set and the accompanying instructions.
