We are also advancing the Bullet Dice $9000 Stretch Goal to activate if Vendetta funds at $5000!
We can do this! If you've pledged, tell your friends. If you haven't pledged, do so now, and then tell your friends! Let's make this happen!
Vendetta is a family card game for 2 to 6 people. Each player plays a mob boss attempting to take control of New York City's underworld. The game is kid friendly and plays in 60 minutes.
We've added a game play video for our Vendetta Kickstarter! We filmed it while enjoying a pizza at Sal's. Sit down, grab a slice, and enjoy the game!
An awesome preview/review by Derek Case!

Well, not so much about vengeance, as it is about spaghetti. I have always loved mobster movies and TV shows. A few years ago, I discovered The Soprano's and spent the summer watching all the previous seasons of the show on DVD. I finally caught up to the final season as it was being aired.
When I'm really into a subject, I like to eat the food associated with the topic. When I read Moby Dick, I ate a lot of clam chowder. When I read the Odyssey, I ate a lot of BBQ. So, during Soprano's Summer, whenever I cooked for the family, I cooked Italian food. Sometimes we had spaghetti 4 nights a week. My family was very happy when the show ended.
Inspired by the Soprano's, the Godfather, and others, I decided to make a mobster card game.
Actually, there is very little blood in the game, and the violence is pretty light-hearted. My goal was to make a fun game for the entire family, so even Aunt Petunia can enjoy getting whacked.
Following this theme, the art is bright, colorful, and fitting the spirit of the game.
Vendetta is family friendly and appropriate for ages 10 and older. Most of the game art has been completed, as you can see in the video. I just need the money to pay the printing bill. The game is ready to print. You can also pledge to get your name on a card and own a piece of the neighborhood with a card title, such as "Kevin's Deli" or "Johnson's Pizzeria". You can even pledge and have your likeness and name on a Boss card!
Vendetta is an easy to learn card game for 2 to 6 players, and is suitable for ages 10 and older. You get to play a mob boss and attempt to take over New York City's businesses.
Of course, the other players are trying to do the same, and sometimes, ah, "conflicts" will arise that must be dealt with. This is where your Crews, Enforcers, Made Men, and other friends can come to your assistance.
The coolest part of the game is its "Vendetta" system. In most games, if a player launches an attack and takes away your stuff, you are in a bad spot and it's all downhill from there. Not in Vendetta!
In Vendetta, let's say some clown muscles in your businesses. He destroys some and takes control of others. He must pay you the Vendetta value of each of your businesses. You can then use those Vendetta points to power-up your future attacks against him. So, the harder you get hit, the harder you can hit the slimeball back!

With several Kickstarter campaigns behind us, we are able to professionally deal with setbacks while keeping you, the backer, informed with what's happening every step of the way - and not just while the campaign is running. When funding closes and production starts, we aim to provide the most up-to-date information possible regarding each stage of the game's journey to your tabletop.
We believe that honesty is as important as regular contact with our backers. You can expect the very best from us, no matter what. As part of our honesty pledge, please be aware that we do not offer refunds after a Kickstarter campaign closes. We need the funds to pay the printer and to purchase the add-ons and stretch goals people have earned during the campaign. If you pledge, and later change your mind, that's okay, but you need to cancel your pledge before the campaign ends.
By working with high quality production facilities that we've dealt with during previous campaigns, we are confident that we'll be able to deliver the game in a timely manner. Our exacting standards mean that you're guaranteed to get a great game.
