About this project
FROM WEDNESDAY 21ST NOVEMBER - WEDNESDAY 28TH NOVEMBER ANYONE WHO PLEDGES WILL RECEIVE A FREE EXCLUSIVE POSTER, FOR ANY DONATION SIZE!
This is our project... this is Dustbowl!
We have created a comic series that we want to share with the world and we need your help to get the attention of publishers/distributors to make this project a reality.
We have the attention of some publishers/distributors, however they need us to make an impact on the comic scene before they can fully invest in this project themselves (what with it being a recession and all). Anywho, I digress...
Dustbowl is a hardhitting comic series from new writers Luke Merrifield and Russell Petch with art from veteran artist Tim Larsen. Set against the backdrop of the Deep South of what would be the U.S.A in an alternate 1901, the series follows waning hitman for hire Hamilton Vurse. The alternate 1901 is a world of political upheaval where the American Revolution was won the British Empire and the southern states are now the Southern People's Confederate Republic and that's just the start!
This is a world where Steam power has run rife for centuries and man has progressed to have vast and powerful machines/mechanisms/tools fueled by Steam! This progress has led to a world where nothing is unexpected, Steam technology can help man achieve the strangest and deadliest creations.
The first Volume of Dustbowl follows Hamilton Vurse as he becomes wrapped up in a conspiracy that seems to have no end, leading him all across Morrison City, through prisons, robberies, slaughterhouses and the terrifying steam powered belly of Morrison City. Enveloping criminals, secret cults, the military and most powerful men in the world, there is no telling where Hamilton and his trusty (or not so) friends will be taken.
ANYONE WHO PLEDGES £10 OR MORE WILL BE ENTERED INTO A LOTTERY TO WIN THE REWARD FOR WHAT WOULD USUALLY BE RESERVED FOR PLEDGING £1000! IMAGES COMING SOON BUT SAFE TO SAY ITS SEXY AS HELL!
Let the adventure ensure!!!

Risks and challenges
We have reviewed all the challenges we should face in completing this project and it is safe to say that having completed a large amount of work prior to coming to a crowd funding site we have all the creative material and contacts to produce the future issues for you.
The major challenge will relying on other people to complete our quota on rewards, such as T Shirts and some other rewards that only become relevant if we hit our second tier. This will be overcome by setting a realistic turn around that will take into account delays or shipment issues.
Have a question? If the info above doesn't help, you can ask the project creator directly.
