Concepts to Fulfillment

Posted by Gifted Vision (Creator)

Hi again!

We've entered our last few weeks of the campaign and we've gathered a lot of information about what people like and don't like about our campaign - lots of contradictions, but also lots of insightful information that we appreciate and can use in the future.  :)

One concern we've heard about is whether or not the manufacturers can translate these great images in to great sculpts.  Let me assure you the sculpts done by our manufacturers are top notch!  Below you will see a concept sketch of our Town Folk minis and a comparison to the final production pieces.  The factory did an awesome job of capturing the essense of the minis, and since we were creating something generic from roughs we were not concerned about getting the look exact - so, our only requirements were "make these look better than the sketches" - and we feel that they did an amazing job, while maintaining the right flavour.  Now having switched manufacturers, we have ensured that the new factory will be able to do the same and we've been shown some amazing products that they've made (as this is a trade secret, we're not sharing, but we can show you our stuff).

I present Town Folk before and after.

Labyrinth Standees

If you check our FAQ LABYRINTH section you will find that we've updated with a pdf for our Labyrinth Standees.  This includes all of the base pieces for the game.  We will update the DCM figures Standees at a later time.

I've personally also created a box for all of my Labyrinth pieces to cart around, no it's not a shoebox, but it does look like one.  The yellow duct tape is easy to spot amongst all of our convention stuff, so we can get it out and set up quickly.  Each card type has it's own slot. The top tray that holds the dice, tokens and tiles has a finger hole for easy removal.  Underneath lies the huge collection of minis!  The only thing not in this little box is the massive play mat.  :)

We hope you're enjoying the game, it's well worth all of the printing it requires and if you wanted to share your experiences with us on our forum or BGG we'd love to hear from you!

We're still out there pimping our warez, and if you spot us, I invite you to jump in encouragingly with your story.  :)

Some may say we only have 15 days left!  I say we have 15 days left, and that is still lots of time.  Much can change, especially on KS.

Best, Jey.
