An affordable and elegant miniature solution that makes a Game Master’s life easier!
Who we are
We are family, friends, and huge fans of role playing games. Most of us have been Game Masters at some point and all of us have been players!
What we’re offering
Our product is simple: beautifully engraved wooden tokens, each face depicting a different monster, coming in packs of 6 or 12 (for regular tokens) or packs of 4 (for large tokens) and containing one 5.0 SRD reference card per monster. These tokens can be used in a variety of tabletop role playing and board games. Please be aware that we are only posting pictures of prototypes at the moment, we will update as we continue to develop and improve our tokens!
We’ve noticed over the years that there aren’t many aesthetically appealing miniature options available for people who don’t have the time, money, or skill to purchase, assemble, and paint their own miniatures, especially when trying to get enough together for a large group of goblins or pack of kobolds. Even if you have all of the above, transporting miniatures can be a hassle.
Steven, our Chief Artificer, came up with an elegant solution - wooden tokens engraved with artwork, each face depicting a different monster. Storage and transportation is extremely easy - one set of 12 tokens gives you two sets of 12 monsters, cutting down on how much stuff you need to bring to be ready for your session of role playing, and each token is smaller than a traditional miniature. The tokens are sturdy and don't have limbs prone to breaking. Each token is also numbered, allowing you to easily keep track of which monsters have been hit and which haven't!
We love our miniatures. Heck, we’ve got plenty and we love using them in our sessions… at least when we're at our homes. We discovered that transporting those minis can be problematic. We just wanted something that still looked good but was easier to prepare, transport, and set up (not to mention more affordable!) than 12 separate bandit minis. Tokens are also a bit easier to conceal behind the GM screen, making it easier to surprise your players...
The idea for Table Tokens came because Steven, our Chief Artificer, needed a bunch of kobolds and goblins for a session he was running. Having painted 16 bugbears for a prior campaign, he really didn’t want to spend another twelve hours painting just to have a group of kobolds ready for one encounter this session. He took a look at one of his machines, figured out how to convert it into a laser engraver, and started designing the first kobold token. Several iterations later, he realized that other people might benefit from these tokens.
Why do we care?
We are hardcore gamers ourselves with extensive role playing and tabletop experience. We believe in running the best games possible, and while theater of the mind is wonderful, props can really enhance the experience when used properly. We want to make convention prep easier for game masters and to make playing at home or away fun and easy for everyone, especially if one doesn’t have a ton of storage space for miniatures. Our ideal role playing product is one that you can pick up off the shelf at your local game store, take home or to a gaming table, and immediately use in whatever session you happen to be running at the moment.
The Road Forward
We’re working diligently to create a wider variety of tokens. The prep work takes time, however. We have a very conservative fulfillment estimate (June 2019), though we would be thrilled to fulfill all pledges earlier if it’s possible! We'll post additional pictures of our prototypes as we continue to develop them.

Risks and challenges
We’re going to be straight with you. We believe in honesty and transparency, and this is the first Kickstarter we’ve done. We’ve made every conceivable effort to plan for what might happen, but we still haven’t met anyone who can perfectly predict the future (if you have, please send them our way!).
The artwork for these tokens takes time, and we strive to ensure the tokens are both aesthetically appealing and functional for tabletop play. We're expecting to beat our deadline of June 2019 and will keep you updated if any delays arise.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
