Update on shipping. Thank you for your patience, we know it's been a long wait and we understand you're frustrated - we're frustrated too! The good news is we're in the final, final, final, final home stretch (promise). Here's what's been going on and where we're at.
The shipping labels that we created were stuck in customs on their way to our factory partner. They've now been released, but our partners are celebrating the EID holiday so weren't able to ship. They are back to work on the 23rd, and all items will go out.
Backers located outside of Canada, the United States, the UK and Australia will receive their goods direct from Bangladesh, via DHL. Backers in Europe will receive their goods duty free, other backers may be subject to the applicable duties and taxes of their country.
Backers located in Canada and the United States will have their orders shipped to our warehouse in Vancouver (so that we can pay for any applicable duties) and we will then have these orders shipped with expedited service from UPS.
Backers located in the UK and Australia will have their orders shipped to our partner facilities in those countries and we will then have their orders shipped expedited by the local carrier.
Even with these delays, orders will start to ship on the 23rd, with the vast majority completed by the end of the month. In honour of full transparency, there may be some orders that are shipped in the beginning of July as well.
For those of you who have been asking about changing your shipping address, any changes will delay your shipping further (as the labels are already overseas.) However, we want you to get your shirts! (Trust us, even though it hasn't always seemed like it, we really, really do.) So, if you NEED to change your shipping address because if you don't your package will be lost to the universe, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll facilitate it - but this will push your shipment into July.
Shirts aren't rocket ships, but new designs plus new fabrics plus new factory coupled with our unwillingness to budge on product quality has made this a more complicated process than we expected, so we do really, truly, genuinely appreciate your patience.
