What are we raising funds for?
We are making a short film in one of our favorite genre's MURDER MYSTERY!
We are VERY big fans of classic murder mystery shows and literature such as PERRY MASON, SHERLOCK HOLMES, and newer classics like MURDER, SHE WROTE, DIAGNOSIS MURDER, COLUMBO and (arguably) the murder mystery KING and QUEEN, SIR ARTHUR CONAN DOYLE and AGATHA CHRISTIE.
Don't worry we love the newer guys too, MONK, PSYCH, MIDSUMMER MURDERS and THE MENTALIST are personal faves. We wouldn't leave any murder mystery entries off the table!
We are creating a mixture of some of our faves into a lovable spoof of the genre in the same vein of other classics like CLUE and MURDER BY DEATH.
Why we care about it?
We love the genre so much and we feel there is a big missing hole in today's entertainment that focuses too much on the blood and guts and not enough on good solid story telling.
This is our way of putting something out to the world with a classic feel and adding a twist of humor.
We want to remind people why these properties were so successful!
It's all about the character, Columbo's rumpled trench coat, Jessica's deeply extended family and charming seaside home, Dr. Mark Sloan's kind-heartedness and extreme attention to detail and who could forget Sherlock's intelligence and logic!
Drama is great but without REAL character substance audiences cannot connect to these people in the same enduring way.
What do we need?
We need financial support to make this project happen! We have a lot in place already, but it will take just a bit more to make this amazing project shine!
Your donations will go exclusively to paying the cast, crew and providing food on set.
We have the locations, the equipment, props and wardrobe to make this project look amazing, but with your help we will be able to go straight into production!

Risks and Challenges:
The good news is...there is very little risk involved. We have so much of this project ready to go already virtually the only risks involved will be an act of GOD!
There are challenges involved and that involves you! We need your help and we need to push and push and push to get this project in front of fans like you, so they can back the project and we can secure the rest of the financing needed to pay our cast and crew!
The department heads are so invested in this project we will not be paying ourselves as we want every ounce of production funds to go to making a better project and that includes finances to pay the cast, crew and a couple batches of chili! We could ask for more, but we are setting the bar low and asking for the bare minimum of what is required to make 1 episode. If we are fortunate to hit some stretch goals you better believe this baby is kicking into high gear and we are going to bring you even more classic characters, more modern characters, more mystery and more importantly more MURDER!
