PLEDGE MANAGER INVITES! - Tidal Blades in training: Part 2
Invites to the Pledge Manager are open! Check your email!
I am attaching the boiler plate that can handle all your questions about the Pledge Manager but the biggest thing to remember is that this system uses the email that you signed up with on Kickstarter, so it may not be the email you use everyday. I go through this on every campaign and I want to cut down on confusion if possible, so make sure you are checking the correct email and that you check your spam folder for the invite as well, sometimes they get caught there! If all else fails and you don't see the invite today, you can manually login with the email you use on Kickstarter and the system will get you an invite. All the info you need, is below in the boilerplate!
Please login and add your shipping address now! It is fine if you plan on moving in the future, you can always come back in and update that later, I will give a lot of notices before fulfillment begins! It's much better to have something rather than nothing. We do not ship games to backers that do not fill out their info on the Pledge Manager.
What if I don't see the email yet?
Check your spam folder. If you use Gmail, sometimes your invite will go to your "Promotions" tab. If you still can't find it, search your inbox for "PledgeManager"
If that doesn't work:
Click - https://skyboundgames.pledgemanager.com/projects/tidal-blades-heroes-of-the-reef/ Click "Request New Invite" Enter your email address (the one you pledged with) Wait at least 10 minutes - then go to your email, open the invite, and click the giant button to confirm all your goodies And if that doesn't work, check the FAQ page @ https://skyboundgames.pledgemanager.com/projects/tidal-blades-heroes-of-the-reef/ and submit a support request.
There's something wrong with my pledge!
That's not impossible. If you notice something is awry, you can submit a support request at https://skyboundgames.pledgemanager.com/projects/tidal-blades-heroes-of-the-reef/ or send us a message directly to email@example.com and we'll look at it for you.
What if I need to change my address?
As long as your items have not been shipped, you can always change your address. Just simply log back in to PledgeManager and make the appropriate change. However, if you change your country, additional shipping costs may apply.
If I have a friend who missed the project, can they still join?
You can share this link to your friends and they can pre-order too: https://skyboundgames.pledgemanager.com/projects/tidal-blades-heroes-of-the-reef/participate/
“My bestiary doesn’t mention a creature of this size, but the Arotian Tortuga bears some surprising similarities.” Eko explained her plan to Sagashi, “If the bone and sinew structure is the same--granted it’s almost 300 times the size of the Tortuga--there should be a weak point in its hind legs.”
“Great!” said Sagashi, and Dru buzzed with excitement. He quickly pulled several devices from his pack and began wiring them together. “These aren’t meant to be used as explosives, but if we create a connection between the shell inputs, it’ll unlock a hell of a charge. Just tell me where to put it.” Eko looked away from the leg she’d been studying. “I’m not sure exactly. I’ve isolated seventeen possible candidates.” “One in seventeen, huh?” said Sagashi. “Well, I’ve faced worse odds.” “No. We need to be more certain,” said Eko, “If we can’t stop it, it will tear apart those docks.” She concentrated and spun her staff, and felt reality swirl around her. ……
Goro hefted his mighty spear and called to his troop. “Ready turtles, ready for your duty as Coral Guards! We stand so Naviri will stand! Onward!” With that he accelerated his craft and was followed by 50 of the most elite Coral Guards. They had taken longer to muster than he’d hoped and even now he could sense the fear in his troop. They raced onward to meet the giant beast in the open waters. The sight of a lone Croc mercenary dodging amongst the monsters claws emboldened the Coral Guard. If a shallows-swimming, double-faced Croc was brave enough to battle the island, than surely the Coral Guards could do it. Spears flashing in to the sun, their voices raised in an ancient battle chant, they raced towards it.
……. Axl stepped as lightly as he could, the rocks searing his soles, sweat pouring from him. Dust raced steadily uphill, her light, desert boots absorbing the heat. “Your gills are looking dry,” she called out as she threw her canteen to Axl. Drinking gratefully, Axl ran after Dust, hooked blade at the ready. The heat from the rocks was almost overpowering and a noxious smoke filled the air. Choking ash danced in the hot wind. Wrapping a cloth around her face, Dust stepped nimbly, climbing the increasingly steep sides. “We’re almost there!”
………. Her vision split and danced in front of her eyes. She spoke in a ragged whisper, “This next one should do it.” Eko concentrated and spun her staff once again, launching her down the seventeenth, and final, future timeline. “There!” she said, pointing at a small crevice where the creature’s rocky rear fin met the island body. Sagashi heaved the linked devices into the shallow pit, and turned just in time to catch Eko, who had collapsed from dizziness.
Lifting her in his arms, the Chameleon whipped out his glider and zoomed upwards on the heat from the island. “Got to go easy on those time spirals young one, make anyone feel wretched.” The glider spun upwards in a lazy arc as Sagashi counted down “4, 3, 2, 1--” A loud BOOM filled the air, its vibrations shaking the glider. Looking down, Sagashi and Eko saw their handiwork rewarded as the crack had expanded and the Island Turtle’s rear left fin fluttered feebly. ……………
Caiman, distracted by the rushing of the Coral Guards, was caught off guard as the island beast roared out in pain, it’s front claws slashing wildly into the water. Looking up a moment too late, Caiman had only a second to jump before the claw smashed into his craft, splitting it in two. He swam down as far as he could, feeling the roiling wake of the claws passing above his head. “Did they reach the heart?” he wondered. But as his head broke the surface and he saw the red flames in the beast’s eyes, he knew whatever wound his friends had dealt had not been fatal.
Reckless from his close call, Caiman swam to the beasts body and clung to a rough outcropping of shell. Gripping the shell carefully he took out his last barbed harpoon and wound up the charge. Climbing steadily he mounted the beasts neck and crawled forward.
