Tail end of the most recent update video for The Grimm Forest James hinted at some stretch goals that were missed being included. Now there might have been some hidden SGs past the minis but it's a good bet it's the minis. Especially with The Grimm Forest getting good praise could be a surge in late pledges.

@DruidCityGames Can't post a message in Grim Forest Board because I was a late backer. So I will do it here (I hope you won't mind). Just wanted to let you know I think you've done an amazing job. You went above and beyond with the creation of the game (not to mention the box!) and keeping us updated and in the loop. Chapeau! Don't mind the haters about video updates or the shipping label thing. You are awesomesauce!

What are the odds that they threw in some Game Trayz? I would geek out! They did for Grimm Forest and Funagain Games said in their unboxing they were doing them for Sorcerer City too so let’s hope 😬😬😬

@Creator - Hi Guys :-D Just sorting out bits and pieces before ordering sleeves for a whole host of cards. Could you let us know quantities and exact dimensions of your cards please? Many thanks in advance :-)

It’s been over a month since the last update and more than a few weeks for this special announcement to have been made. Please let your supporters know what is going on.

Congrats to Team Druid City and all the backers! I'm really excited that this game will become a reality. I'm OK with not getting the minis. I'm even more excited that we got some bonus stuff, though.

I mean, I recently traded away Sheriff of Nottingham because it just wasn’t quite deep enough for me. The mechanics are REALLY intriguing. I don’t really know what the miniatures would have added, but since it looks like we’ll still be getting one miniature the collector in me kind of wants the complete set. Oh well! I’ll be waiting for campaign #2

    30. abaddon1 on October 13

The silver lining to not hitting the minis stretch goal is that an on-time delivery is now massively more likely!

I think this campaign might have done better if it had been longer or a slightly lower price point. In the end, though, it's a successful campaign. And I'll be glad to get this game. =)

It's all good. Once this game is out just run a 2nd campaign for minis and other stretch goals

It's a bummer about the minis but like someone mentioned before I hope they do a second campaign later for the other stretch goals and maybe an expansion.

I'm perfectly happy with the game without minis. This is a game where you very much play the other players, not the game. The component quality upgrade stretch goal is all I need.

While I think the game is a little high-priced (particularly without more SGs unlocked), I love DCG and how they support the community, so I'm gonna hop on in here anyway.
Well, that and the game looks really fun. I'd have joined right when it launched if it had been maybe ten dollars cheaper.

      That's a fair thing to say @Joe

    42. Joe Ferguson on October 13

I feel pretty fortunate we made the first stretch goal and happy the game is getting made (congrats guys)! Plus, let's be honest - if you absolutely HAVE to have miniatures and the meeples just aren't doing it for you, finding existing minis that will be suitable matches for these characters won't be too difficult with the right paint scheme.

There's still time to get another 14k maybe some more retailers will invest, people pledging low will jump up and there's always potential for more pledgers in general.

If it's not considered a real success, then a relaunch isn't a bad move, Gamelyn Games did it and it was a true success.

    48. Lawrence Love on October 13

In order to reach the $50k stretch goal for the miniatures, we would have needed roughly 1,300 backers. Currently we’re just over 700.

Because of tooling costs, it is unlikely that even as an add-on it would make sense financially... unless WE absorbed much more of the costs.

I don’t even know if that’s a possibility this late in the game. However, if we have the opportunity at a second printing some time in the future, and the KS campaign allowed us to just buy miniatures (and expansion?), then maybe we can finally make them a reality.

I don’t know why Druid City Games went with a 10-day campaign, but perhaps next time we won’t be quite so limited. Plus, hopefully once the game is out, we can help create demand through word of mouth.

I’m excited about this game as-is, and hopefully it will have an extended life beyond this campaign.

Lol I suspect you're not the only one, but the problem is, the minis actually have no impact on gameplay, it's thematic that's all
