Have you imagine that you could print any thing showed on your smart phone's screen, like messages, web page or image? Now you can!
droPrinter is the world’s first and only phone printer solely designed for smart phone. Using thermal paper (the paper used by many thermal printers), droPrinter could print any thing showed on your smart phone's screen.
droPrinter is compact and easy to use, you just turn it on, one step to connect the smartphone, and it could start printing anything within seconds. We designed droPrinter to be super simple. After the first time, droPrinter will pair automatically to your smart phone.

What can I print with droPrinter?
You could print tips, photos, website, image, etc. Every thing showed on your smart phone you always could print them by your droPrinter.
One more thing: droPrinter is very durable, the rechargeable battery will last for more than 120 hours, or 7 hours if you want to print continuously. That’s a lot of printing!
The Paper of droPrinter:
droPrinter is the best low-cost & efficient accessories for your smart-phone. Just 2 cents for each printing.
we use standard thermal paper, you can purchase it at any office supply or big box store. and the paper is very cheap too.
Long-Style-Printing: These rolls have 85 feet of paper for you to print as many context as you can. And you can easily stick the paper to the wall with adhesive tape or tidy them up with clamps.

We have think about droPrinter boy face for a thousand times, but then, finally, we decide to put this right into your hands. You could print any face you like to stick it on droPrinter.

We have developed the demo Android and iOS App for droPrinter. They all work very well functionally. In this case, you could control the droPrinter via your smart phone to print a lot of amazing things.
droPrinter's APPs is quite user-friendly. We’ve already optimized droPrinter’s performance, leaving only a few straightforward settings so you can easily print at real-time.

Risques et défis
We've been working on droPrinter for almost a year and had initially intended to launch in June 2014. We held back so that we could ensure the prototype worked perfectly (check out the video, it does!) and so that we could speak to the factories (and make related visits to China). Comfortable that we can deliver this, we’re now launching droPrinter!
Below are a couple of the main challenges we will tackle:
Choice of Factory:
We put a lot of work into designing and building the prototypes, and we know there is some risk in hardware produce, but during this time, we have already found many reliable suppliers, such as the supplier of droPrinter’ case, this factory used to produce 10000 PCS Raspberry Pi Cases in only 5 days and ship them. And the electronics supplier, they would help us to improve our electronics design, in that case, droPrinter could past the test and approved by various independent agencies. Besides, they also could help us to choose the good quality battery for droPrinter.
Choice of Shipment:
We also have do a lot of research of international shipping. Because when we search the shipping issue in kickstarter campus, lots of people got stuck in this step. But we have already made a plan about shipping.
For example, we ship a large bulk of droPrinters to EU third party warehouse,and the staff of warehouse would resend the stock by domestic delivery. Then it could make the shipping more accuracy and safety. We have contact many warehouse and ask for a good price. So we need to ship many droPrinters, otherwise, this method is more expensive than express.
Anyway, we would try our best to control the risk, and make every thing settle down. Of course, we promise to keep you updated every step of the way!
