About this project
Pedal along with John Moorhouse, Mark Pettengill, and Holly Horner as they ride their bikes from Orlando, FL to Athens, GA to attend the Twilight Criterium. This 430 mile journey will have them pushing through the night struggling against traffic, fatigue, the elements, and any other challenges that may arise as they try to accomplish this feat within a single day's time - 24 hours.
This documentary serves as a lasting tribute to anyone who has ever bonked [hard] or entered and emerged from the pain cave or willingly participated in the sufferfest for the express purpose of finding their limits and going beyond. Explore John's past attempts at riding to Twilight, witness the team's training efforts in preparation for the ride, and get ready to cheer as these ultra-endurance athletes race against the clock in 24 Hours to Twilight.
Everyone working on this project is providing their expertise gratis... so why are we raising funds? There are still a huge number of expenses that come along with traveling, filming, and editing this type of project. We're attempting to raise just enough funds to complete this documentary on a shoestring budget while still providing awesome rewards for our Kickstarter supporters. Any leftover funds (an unlikely, but possible scenario) will be used to produce additional project-themed schwag and mailed out along with the announced rewards. As with karma (and Kickstarter)... the more you give, the more you receive so please support this documentary.
No. All monies pledged will go directly to support the creation of the documentary. If you would like to sponsor or otherwise support the cyclists, please e-mail me directly and I will forward along your contact information to them.
