Packing Day (and a note to our international backers)
It’s here! It’s finally here! The greatest day on Earth! PACKING DAY!
Yes, nineish months after our Kickstarter, we are putting the darn things into boxes and sending them out. When we launched the Kickstarter, we figured it wouldn’t be a big deal to sign and send out all the boxes personally– after all, how many could we possibly sell? 20? 25?
So we got to work.
360ish signatures and roughly 200ish pithy, Yearbookesque sayings later, we got to work. A few hours later…
There was one unfortunate bit of news, though.
International Shipping was WAY more than we thought it would be.
USPS lied to us when we priced international shipping during the Kickstarter. So while they still went out today, we had to send them direct from DriveThruRPG. We’re talking $65 a book for shipping to certain places, which was absurd. Unfortunately, they won’t be autographed, but we’re looking at ways to try and fix that for our international hardcover purchasers (Leah’s suggested a tacky postcard!)
Launch is coming up!
After two and a half years in development and nine months after our Kickstarter, we’re going live December 8th and BOY DO WE NEED A BEER. If you’re in the Atlanta area, drop by My Parents’ Basement in Avondale Estates from 3 PM until (upside down question mark) and hang out with us/pick up a copy of the book (or five). If not, keep your eyes peeled on DriveThruRPG and our social media for some FREE GIVEAWAAAAAAAAAYS!
Thanks, as always, for letting us do this with you.
