Hey there dear backers and random people who like to drink! My name is Lee, I created Drinkill and it’s time to get all cheesy and personal, ‘cause the story of Drinkill is about to bring you to tears.
It all started when I was born, I came out of the womb with a six-pack of beers and my parents didn’t know how to react, i wasn’t like other babies, I couldn’t stand the taste of milk and I was always looking for something stronger, I grew up with an unbelievable resistance to alcoholic beverages and it made me an outcast.
No girl would date me because I couldn’t replace the only love in my heart and people didn’t invite me to parties, because I drank all the booze.
When I turned 22 I had enough of it, I decided to make it in my own way. I decided I’ll have a party and invite whoever I want to a drinking night they’ll never forget! I searched for a cool drinking game to make this night as epic as I wanted it, but no matter where I looked..I couldn’t find what I needed. After hours of searching with no results I decided to create my own game! Because, f*ck that, I can! I took a blank board and some empty pages and started drawing…
I didn’t plan for people to go crazy for it, but the responses I got the day after were unbelievable. I felt a mix of joy and of course a severe hangover, but I knew what I needed to do next: I must take this idea and bring it to life.
So I talked with the best designer I know and together we illustrated the whole game, card by card, challenge after challenge.
One year later I had it all ready, but then the real quest started. “Man..my only skill is creativity, how the hell am I supposed to manufacture and promote it?!”, so I started looking for passionate partners to help me out with territories I wasn’t familiar with and after a while I found the dream team. How did I know it was a dream team? Well when people go crazy when they hear the idea and then quit their jobs and invest money and all their time to make this project work you know you found the right people.
Meet the Drinkill team:
So we rented an office and worked months to finalize the product and design, printed prototypes, started publishing in the social media, studied Kickstarter projects from top to bottom until we understood exactly what our audience would like. We locked ourselves in the basement for days and worked our asses off. Hell, we're still working. We decided that if we do it, we’re gonna utilize the full potential of this crazy game. Then, Drinkill was born. A name that combines the obvious drinking purpose, and the “Overkill” gaming term. It was as exciting as giving birth.
We started getting tons of positive reactions from all around, and lots of people were interested in being a part of it and help, it really blew our minds and gave us hope for the future of this campaign.
Now, after years in the drawer, we’re at the finish line. I come to you without any desire to get rich or famous, but with the desire to bring other party people out there a magnificent drinking game they can bring to every night out or holiday and just party. Hard.
I wanna thank each and every one of you true supporters, the people that were there from the very beginning and helped us along the way and all of you alcohol-loving newcomers. You’re the soul and the reason we’re doing this, and we appreciate you for supporting us in any way!

All shipping fees will be collected only if the campaign is successfully funded using the pledge management tool "CrowdOx" after the campaign ends. “CrowdOx” is an awesome third-party platform that will help us process all your pledges much more efficiently. you'll confirm your shipping and email addresses are correct through their system to receive your rewards, and you'll find the final shipping costs on the “CrowdOx” platform after the campaign.
We use “CrowdOx” and collect shipping after the campaign mainly for 2 reasons:
- Managing the campaign and stretch goals on a much tighter budget - We believe doing so will ultimately be translated to a more successful campaign, which means a bigger and better game for all our backers.
- Avoid overcharging shipping fees during the campaign - By collecting the shipping fees when the campaign is over, we will know how many units of the game has to manufactured, and where they need to be sent. Knowing that will allow us to calculate and collect the actual shipping cost, rather then potentially charging higher fees during the campaign.

Friendly shipping means that for the applicable region, all the rewards will be sent to a fulfillment hub for distribution to the backers, rather then directly to each backer in the region.
Doing that means vat & taxes is paid upfront (by us), and that you can almost certainly expect a hassle-free on-time delivery for your rewards.

Expected Delivery Date:
We’re not gonna make you guys wait for long! We’ve done tons of research and planned all the campaign logistics in multiple scenarios from top to bottom. The Manufacturing of Drinkill is ready to go, we’ll aim to start the production of the game even before the campaign ends, aiming for express delivery of the finalized product! so you guys can expect the delivery date to be as mentioned in your pledge, around May-July 2019.

Before we even thought about going to Kickstarter we already finished all the gameplay planning and the design of the final product.
We’re experienced with manufacturers and shipping agents, and the production of this game is already agreed upon with manufacturers including all stretch and social goals.
We’ll start the production of the game before the campaign ends, aiming for express delivery of the finalized product!
SMALL TEAM, HIGH MOTIVATION:
This is our first Kickstarter campaign and we may encounter obstacles we didn’t encountered yet, zero risks doesn’t exist, but we’re doing our best to minimize them.
it is not impossible that we face delays from uncontrollable sources (curses, rafting accidents, attacks from giant bears, killer bees, etc). This may cause some delay in the delivery date but rest assured that, if this were to happen, we will keep you informed about the situation.
