Have a question?
@Greg - I'm sorry for the confusion Greg but the Max design does not include the cutout for charging.
@Hans - How did it break? Did it break during shipping?
I love the watch cover, but I do have two complaints. The first is that I have to take it off to charge the phone. I was expecting the charger to fit the watch with the cover on. The second is that the cover comes off a little too easy. If you catch the watch on something just right it will pop right off. Currently I have no idea where my watch cover is because it came off without me knowing it. I'm sure it's in the house somewhere and will turn up eventually, but it's annoying. Other than that I really like it. I think it really enhances the look of the watch.
I just came home and hole leftside of the cover the red one i just got broke off. I will send you a photo if you send me your email adres. ( i can t find the last email.
Received the cover yesterday and tbh not quite impressed. However given it's 3D printed I do understand the limitation.
Just I wish I opted for black of darker colour.
The glow in dark is indeed looks very tacky and cheap and nasty showing off all the shortcomings of 3D printing...
@Derek - The cover shouldn't scratch or leave marks on the screen of the Pebble (the PLA plastic is softer than the protective coating that comes with a Pebble), but I haven't extensively tested for all screen protectors. The cover may be too tight with the screen protector and may be pinching certain spots.
You should be able to smooth the inside of the cover with emery paper or sand paper. For the inside the grit shouldn't matter, but the higher grits will provide a nicer cosmetic finish. I think the key will be to sand down enough off the inside for the cover to fit nicely over the protector, and also to make sure that there are no obvious rough spots.
I've had the cover on for a few days now and decided to remove it to clean the screen and screen protector. It seems that the cover has marked the screen protector and pitted it. a look at the covers shows very rough on the inside. Glad I had the protector on the watch. What can you recommend to smooth the inner part of the cover? Light emery paper?
I will be ordering a new screen protector soon and would prefer to not mark another or the screen.
@Thaddeus - It looks awesome! Hopefully they will release some 3D models I can play with :D
Hey Drew, looks like you might have aonther smartwatch to make a cover for. Plus it looks to set a new bar in smart watches.
I received my covers. Unfortunately, after a couple of days, I lost the glow in the dark cover. No idea how. I assumed it broke and fell off. I just looked one day and it was gone. Good thing I ordered three. I will try the others and provide feedback.
Drew. Thank you
I loved my cover for the time it lasted, I had a glow in the dark one and the side snapped off on the second day
@Chand - Sorry for the trouble. I see you have a Glow-in-the-Dark Oval. As I just posted in an update to all backers, the Glow-in-the-Dark plastic is must softer and weaker than the other plastics. In addition, the Oval design is a little more fragile than the other designs due to the small narrow side, top, and bottom walls so the Glow-in-the-Dark Oval is a particularly fragile combination. I'll send you a personal message so we can arrange a replacement.
For all other Glow-in-the-Dark owners, please read the recent update with updated installation and removal instructions (although these can help everybody) which might help reduce any problems.
Just got mine today, and it broke as soon as I put it on. Bummer.
@hans - Sorry for trouble and I can certainly send a replacement. Do you have any more information on where and how it broke to help me improve the design?
I got mine and i lost mine today. The side of the back nob side broke off. What about garanty of the cover?
Just got mine Drew...great job! Great product AND project mgmt from day 1...best of luck in the future
Thank you everybody for the feedback.
@Callum - I designed a cutout for the USB cable for the Bevel, Square, and Oval styles but did not create a cutout for the Max style. After a few designs, I didn't like the way it fit on the Max and left the lower left 'arm' a little unstable.
@Thaddeus - I've experimented with numerous techniques for sanding and polishing and will include some information on the new site for anybody interested (short story is that 150 grit works great). It only takes a few minutes per cover (although for 700 covers that adds up to a lot of time) but sometimes they turned out amazing and sometimes the un-sanded surface looked better. I kept showing different people different versions and many actually preferred the rough textured surface. I'll continue experimenting and if anybody tries on their own I would love to see the results.
Oops....figured it out.
Got em, Drew........good job! How can we order more?
Just got my cover in. Very nice. I wish it could of been smoother, but i guess sanding/polishing every cover would of been very time consuming. Like it, though!
However, one minor point... the charger doesn't fit when the covers on. That's never the case with other covers for other products.
Still good though!
I just received mine here in the UK. Very happy with it! Thank you very much!
Hey Drew, just a heads-up that the Sep. 2013-covers destined for European(or at least Belgian) backers are arriving: mine arrived in the mail today. Overall I'm positively impressed with how well the max. design covers the pebble.
@Matthew - Sorry for the trouble, I would be happy to replace the cover.
Unfortunately, the Glow in the Dark plastic is noticeably softer and more fragile than the other plastics and requires a little more care while removing. For all the covers, it's important to not slide the cover up or down to remove and gently pry up (but not out) the top left corner to remove (for the Max design, pry up the middle of the left side).
Hey drew after putting on the pebble and taking it off my cover cracked anyway I can send it back and get a new one? Maybe in a different style?
I just got my black square Pebble Watch Cover and I think it's awesome! Very cool. And my first 3D printed product! Honestly I was just looking for extra protection for my Pebble, but damn if this thing doesn't look good at the same time!
Not a problem Drew. Thanks so much!
@Kristin - Of course! I will send out a replacement in the next few days. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
Hey Drew, so 4 out of the 5 covers I received arrived fine. But my 'kick starter green' cover unfortunately is broken... Anyway I can get a replacement sent out?
@Alex - Looks awesome! I love the cover-screen protector combo!
Finally was able to pick up my cover from my house after being on vacation for a few days. Very impressed so far, the cover looks great, it arrived in good condition and works perfect with my old ratty skinomi clear skin. Thank you for making these!

@Bryan - It sounds like it may have gotten lost in the mail, some of my domestic test shipments did take up to two weeks to arrive.
Still nothing ...
@Richard - I'm sorry Richard, some of the early shipments haven't survived the postal machines. I've upgraded all the future packaging to bubble mailers which should ensure that USPS treats the rewards are "parcels" and the mailers should not be run through the machine.
I will be away this week, but I will send you a replacement cover when I return.
My cover arrived today and unfortunately the left side is cracked. I sent you a message through Kickstarter to request a replacement. Thanks, Richard
Got it, thank you!
@Peter - I will start taking orders at http://pebblecovers.com/ on July 22nd
Can I still order a cover for my Pebble? I backed for 5$ and just received the loop. I thougt I should get a cover (my mistake). But now I can't find the place to order a cover as well...
Has anyone else used their watch cover on a Pebble with a bestskinsever protector on?
When I removed my watch cover after a few hours, I noticed a number of scuffs and dings in the screen protector. Has anyone else seen anything like this?
@George - I'm sorry for the confusion but the Max design does not include the cutout for the charger. Due to the "arms" of the Max design, the cutout allowed the cover and "arms" to become easily snagged and popped off too easily.
I go more into depth in my reasoning in update #7:
I just went to plug up my charger..... The plastic is not cut to allow the pebble cord to plug up as pictured in the kickstarter
I got my grey cover today. I am happy with the way it snaps on, feels extremely secure. It has some kind of noticeable bump in the top left side. For $10 I am happy. You paid the percentage to amazon and kickstarter, envelopes. $1 on shipping and even went and had a nice instruction manual printed on how to put it up.
Sorry I missed the Update #7 for voting. Not sure how I missed the voting link. Anyway, I'm a backer of 5 and I voted now. Sorry for the delay, Drew.
@Kristin - Shipping should start soon, I'm just waiting on a few test packages to arrive in the mail to confirm the integrity of the packaging :)
Hey Drew, any ideas on when shipping will start. Soooo excited!
Can't wait to get my covers!!
Derp, disregard my question. I see now the difference between standard and premium colors.
Is Gold color not available to the $10 backer level? Unless I missed it, it did not appear on the form for me to pick.
@Mary - The Wide Body watch bands all differ in width from style to style and I don't have all the specifications for them, so I can't change the watch band loop design.
@Michael and @Mary - I'll post a video in the next day or two to show how easy it is to put on and remove all the designs.
