Originally, I discussed the option of making this a kit on Ravelry, but after having many people test the kit I decided it would be better to charge a little more and do the assembly before shipping it out.
I will use USPS to handle the shipping. Internationally, USPS has other shipping companies they work with around the world. For a single Mini shipping inside the USA is $6 and internationally it is $20 (this stated clearly when you back the project in Kickstarter). If your country has inport duty then you'd be responsible for those fees.
I will be making an instructional video for the Mini that will be posted to youtube before it starts shipping. Video instructions work much better for new spinners than words or photos. The video will cover all the controls on the Mini and enough about spinning to get you started. Then it is all about practice. Spinning has a lot to do with muscle memory of your fingers. It can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours to start getting a feel for it. You'll continue getting better the more you practice.
