Dex Fankit + IndieDB Votes + NPC Tier Lowered
Do you want Dex to attract even more funds and reach some of its more amazing Stretch Goals? Well, we’ve made your job easier with our Fankit – it’s got cool icons/avatars, images, and banners for you to use as you wish (on forums, Facebook, as a kickstarter profile icon – however you want!). You can download the Fankit here: http://dex-rpg.com/download/DexFankit.zip
£24,000 reached on Kickstarter & almost £500 on Paypal
We are happy to announce we crossed the £24,000 threshold here on Kickstarter! That is exactly ten thousand pounds more than our initial goal. Yeah! Combined with Paypal (right now £438 and rising), we are just about £1500 from the Wii U stretch goal. This means we can possibly hit it in the next 24 hours, giving us the final days to march forward to the £31,000 game extension goal (more details about that one coming soon)!
NPC Tier Lowered
Based on the community’s request (and since we really want some of our fans to be digitalized into the game and inhabit Harbor Prime!), we decided to lower the Citizen reward tier to a contribution of £180. The other, higher reward tiers remain – and will remain – unchanged.
Indie of the Year 2013 Awards (24 Hours Left!)
IndieDB is holding an annual Indie of the Year awards, with only 24 hours remaining to vote. There is a "Best Upcoming" category, where Dex could fit in. The results (first 100 games based on community votes) will be announced in – almost exactly – 24 hours. Getting noticed there can help us attain more attention for the last push of our campaign, so if you would like Dex to be rated among the most anticipated indie games, vote for us here: http://www.indiedb.com/games/dex/
Visually stunning, with a fascinating story and gameplay premise, Bloom moves away from the cliché of necessary game violence and offers alternative solutions every step of the way. In fact, you can play the entire game through without actually harming anyone, if that’s your cup of tea. The game is in an early development state, but offers a pre-alpha engine demo, an intriguing concept, and some amazing art. Bloom is within its final 20 hours and you can grab it for as low as ten bucks, with some cool t-shirts and plushies among the more high-end rewards.
