Greenlit, First Stretch Goal Hit, GOG & Other News!

Posted by Dreadlocks (Creator)

Hi Kickstarters!

Thanks to all of you who voted for us, and as many of you already know, we got Greenlit on Steam! This will both enlarge our community and give us a fresh wind as we sail toward the grand finale of our campaign. It also confirms the availability of Steam keys. Now we can say for sure that all our backers eligible for game download will be able to receive Dex via Steam key! We’ll also look into further integration of Dex with other Steamworks features (you know, Steam achievements, Auto updating, Cloud saving, etc.) – in order to offer a comfortable, quality experience for all Steam gamers!

GOG Community Wishlist for Dex

Note that one of our fans has also set up a GOG Wishlist, so if you want downloads of Dex through GOG, vote here:

Add-ons Soon!

With our Steam Greenlight success, we are looking into including add-ons (pledging more will grant you additional goodies, including multiple Steam keys to give out to your friends). The same will hold true for the Wii U version (Stretch Goal ahead!) – once we make the Wii U Stretch goal, you will be able to choose the Wii U version of the game or get multiple versions for yourself (let’s say, Wii U + Steam + OUYA, if you own both consoles and PC) or as gifts!

Bioengineered Soundtrack – Check!

We’ve also beaten the first £19,000 Stretch Goal! This means the in-game soundtrack will be extended and augmented with a live singer and some kick-ass professional musicians (impacting mainly the important story moments!). Also, the soundtrack that comes with Deluxe editions (Digital and Physical) will now be extended to 75 minutes, including new bonus tracks!

Wii U and Extended Game Ahead

We have less than £5,000 to go in order to reach our Wii U goal! Go, Wii U, go! We can confirm that the game will play nicely on this platform, which combines the standard home console controller with a “tablet-like” screen on the controller itself (useful for maps, inventory, etc.)!

And yo, we still have a real shot at hitting the £31,000 stretch goal, which will trigger an extended game and unique armor types (offering new solutions and abilities)! This goal may seem far off now, but we still have six days to go and with the combination of your support and some more good media coverage, we’ll make it!

Indie Showcase

LISA The Painful RPG

Post-apo side-scrolling survival RPG LISA offers some innovative and perverted (and we mean that in the most positive way!) stuff. One of the gameplay options: “Giving up your limbs in exchange for the lives of your party members, affecting your stats, but ensuring their safety from permanent death.” The game starts at $10, so if you are into something highly unpleasant (and again we mean that in the most positive way!), this one is a sure pick!

Enjoy the weekend!

I vote for Humble Bundle - it's crossplatform! GOG will never support Linux.

DeafTard: You are welcome! (and thanks for the tip for the Wii U mockup / screenshot!)
