Eagle Force Pulp: Search and Destroy left The Cat's best friend Coyote back from the dead and the ghost of the vigilante The Face haunting him.
What happens next? Where can a dead spy go, especially after his ultra-secret agency has been destroyed?
The answer lies in two powerful allies: Redwing--and Captain John Eagle!
Face the Fear picks up the story threads from the four Cat pulps and reveals a secret side of the Eagle Force mythos. As Coyote tries to control the wrath of the Face and understand the terrible legacy haunting him, he also struggles to fulfill the ultimate mission--
End the remnants of R.I.O.T., starting with finding the sociopathic Orin Sire. In order to pull that off, he'll have to keep his own fear and check, and also avoid the country's greatest manhunter: Jay Blackrope, aka Redwing.
I'm doing something really special for this book: the cover will be a photograph of a 3D printed sculpt of The Face! Working from the digital file from Fresh Monkey Fiction, I've printed The Face at a height of 3". When you subscribe to the Debriefing level, you get access to my process videos, as I prepare and paint The Face. I may also read off some in-process writing from Face the Fear!
If you want to add the videos onto your pledge, add an extra $10 and fill out the Add-On survey that goes out at campaign's end.
Want to get utterly annihilated by The Face? Chose the Grisly Death Level and become a hapless R.I.O.T. thug at the business end of The Face's fangs. FYI: I promise to write and choose your demise in combat with both honor and a sense of the macab.
How have things changed since the last Pulp campaign?
The digital PDF level has been lowered to match the pricing of the ebooks on Amazon. Please note the special features (letters page, MEGA short story, or character profiles) are NOT available through Kindle, and only through this campaign.
I'm no longer offering prior books in the current one's campaign. That's part of my decision in making things leaner and meaner on my end. Also, I want the print version of the pulps to be that much more exclusive and special.
They're going to keep getting better, from one book to the next. Okay, that's both my personal hope and my promise to you!
Risks and challenges
I've done a few of the pulps campaigns and have it (mostly) down to a science. The biggest variables, when they happen, come from shipping issues, but that happens less than often.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
