Two new Stretch Goals unlocked! Silver Bar photos revealed. Getting ready for Airecon.

Hey everyone,

Today we are excited to show you how the silver bars look like in photos. To ensure their quality we have made small production runs and we can show their final quality. And here they are:

And here we have prepared a comparison between a 1 euro coin, one of our new metal coins (the silver coin of the Alchemist set) and the bars.

As you can see the bar is much thicker than the coins which are much thicker than the "normal" coins that are in circulation.

Two new Stretch Goals

Today we have two new Stretch Goals to reveal.

If we reach 35K, we will add an additional silver coin to the Standard Sets (increasing each set to 26 coins). And if we reach 40K we will have a new, Gold bar to reveal. Which will provide even more variability.

It is important to notice that both bars are only available as Add-Ons ($4 each) and are not included in any sets (even in Collector Sets).

Going to Airecon

Tomorrow we will be setting up our booth in Airecon, a convention in Harrogate, UK. It's the first time we will be there and we are very excited to see the lovely city and people around. We will have prototypes of the new coins to showcase among with our two newest games, Witless Wizards and Say Whaaat?!

If you plan to be there come by booth C-1 and say hi.

Also, we are still looking for some helpers. So, if you are interested in explaining board games for 4 hours, we will be more than happy to provide you some coins, games and the ticket for the show. All you have to do is sending us a message here.

                                           Thank you for your support

      Ah. Thank you Lukas Buergi!
      :-)
Now I'm a little bit wiser for my buying decision.

Grabbed some of my Medieval Unit coins to measure and they are about 3mm thick. Diameter is 23mm for the copper I, 26mm for the silver V and 29mm for the gold X coin.

As you say thickness: How thick are the coins of the medieval set (medieval units)?
      And how much in diameter?

I'm looking for more universal coins, which aren't to big and not to thick/heavy. And not to regular in circumference. Tendencially "old" (medieval in direction to modern) and european, but without being extremely obvious roman, keltic, greek, fantasy, sience fiction, steam punk etc.
The (meantime unavailable) metal coins of Robin Hood and the Merry Men are a good example.

I would like to replace coins in Caylus, The Traders of Genua etc.
