Frequently Asked Questions
They will be available for purchase at the Pledge Manager, a website we will open after the kickstarter ends. All rewards, including Stretch Goals and Kickstarter Exclusives, will be made available there. Just back any Pledge Level and you will have access to it.Last updated:
There are two categories of Stretch Goals unlocked during the first Kickstarter: those that come inside the Core Box (Quests, plastic tray, Game Modes, etc.) and Kickstarter Exclusive miniatures, which come in what we call the "Imperial Box:" it contains alternative enemy sculpts, Baleroth (Boss) and 3 Heroes (Vanarus, Ascaran, and the Emperor).
The Core Box you get in this campaign COMES with all Stretch Goals that are NOT part of the Imperial Box.
You can purchase the Imperial Box for an economical price in our Pledge Manager, to be opened after the kickstarter ends.Last updated:
If you are a new backer, the first step is to back a pledge level in this campaign that includes the Core Box. These are assigned with a "(New backers)" stamp in the Pledge Box's title.
After the Kickstarter ends, you will receive an e-mail with a link, inviting you to participate in our Pledge Manager, another website we will open to handle all pledges. The Pledge Manager will remain open for months, giving you enough time to choose (or save for) whatever it is you want to take. There, you will find other rewards you may want to add to the pledge you made on Kickstarter.
The "First Campaign's Full Pledge + Kickstarter Exclusives" will cost $129. It includes the Elder Dragon Gargantuan Miniature ($35), the Heroes & Dungeons Expansion ($89), the Imperial Box ($29), the Art & World of Arena Hardcover ($25), Harun, the Shapeshifter Hero add-on ($10), and the Hydra & Bruisers box (Full Pledge Exclusive).
Therefore, the Full Pledge will be $59 OFF and include the Hydra + Bruisers pack.
Since you can only get all Heroes if you get the Imperial Box, Heroes & Dungeons, Harun, and Hydra+Bruisers, we are studying the possibility of grouping them together in a single box. If this happens, we may not sell some or all of these rewards separately.Last updated:
(New Miniatures) What Heroes will be reworked? If I am a returning backer, what will I get for free and what should I do?
All 28 Heroes from one of the seven original Combat Roles will be reworked.
That is: the 12 Heroes from Arena: the Contest's Core Box, 12 Heroes from the Heroes & Dungeons Expansion Box, and 4 Bruisers (two of them come in the Imperial Box and two in the Hydra & Bruisers box).
New backers that purchase the aforementioned boxes will already receive the update versions of the miniatures.
Returning backers can get a 12-pack (Core Box Heroes) for free when they pledge for Tanares Adventures, and an additional 16-pack (all others) when they pledge for at least a Bundle (Tanares Adventures + Dragon Collection).
We will verify your status of returning backer after the kickstarter ends and individually work on each case where the verification is not automatic. Please refer to the "Miniature Improvement" box in the campaign page.Last updated:

For the French speaking people, the "TEAM FRANCE" will follow up in French and you will be informed of the translations already made and those to come (Rulebook, ...).
Do not hesitate to come and ask your questions, discuss...
Facebook page « Arena the Contest Francophone » :
Community site to discuss ARENA:
(Languages) Will the entire game (Core Box / Expansions) be translated to my language? What is not part of the Language Pack?
If you see your country's national flag on the project cover, or if you speak the main language spoken in those countries, then yes.
Please beware that physical translated content must be purchased separately in our Pledge Manager, for an economical price that covers the cost of printing the cards, Heropads, and all other material required to play the game on the board.
Story excerpts outside of the "Fast Action Text Boxes" will be digitally available, for printing them would be heavy and costly. Given the immense amount of written material, we will recruit volunteers in the community to help with the effort, especially regarding proofreading, to have everything done as fast as possible, and then the result of the translation will be uploaded into an app. You can already see how it should work through the following link. The app currently has Campaign Cards from the Core Box, available to read in both English and French, but eventually all supported languages shall be there: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.arena.arenacampaigndeck
Please refer to the "Risks & Challenges" section in the campaign page for more details and exceptions.Last updated:
Yes, if your reward tier is eligible to receive "Stretch Goals," you will receive the Community Rewards as well.
The sole exception are a couple of Community Rewards that add something to the Dragon Collection (namely, the addition of cards and adaptations for playing Dragon x Dragon Game Mode with the Green Dragon and the Chimera). Only in these cases you need to be pledging for the Dragon Collection (in any pledge level) to receive them.Last updated:
