I know we normally cover an Origin on Monday, but we couldn't wait to share this with you all! We'll take a look at an Origin tomorrow, but for now...

Legendary author Ben Counter has joined the Carbon 2185 team!

Anybody who has even poked their heads into a Games Workshop, or even knows somebody who enjoys Warhammer 40k has probably heard the name Ben Counter.

Ben is well known as the author of the very best books in Warhammer 40k fiction, including fan favourites such as Galaxy in Flames Grey Knights, and Soul Drinker!

We're VERY confident that we'll unlock The Capital of the World | Manhattan 2185 in no time at all, and that's exactly what Ben will be writing for us!

When we unlock it, all 100 pages of the Manhattan sourcebook will be written, detailed, and brought to life by one of the best living literary world-builders!

Keep on sharing the project and we'll hit Manhattan in no time!

Stay awesome cyberpunks!

      Hi David!
Yeah there will be plenty of options to customise your character's physical appearance through surgery, remodelling, and Cybernetics

In the original Cyberpunk RPG there was quite a bit of attention to detail about how a character looked, such as glowing tattoos, eye changing colors, fiber optic hair implants, etc.. Will there will fashion cybernetic enhancements to make a 'punker look cool? This was one of the big attractions of the original game that made it fun and cool to be a cyberpunk.

@Nova99: They said that if we reach London, there will be a hardcover omnibus of all three city settings.

I love Bens’ work for GW. His ability to write ship-to-ship combat is one of my hightlights from his GW accomplishments.
It’s just such a shame one of his Horus Heresy novels is probably the most reviled of the HH series, yet despite that general consensus I rather enjoyed it.

Perhaps if we reach £100k and fund all three supplements you could offer a limited edition omnibus version contain all three, printed as a traditional hardback as per the limited version of the core book, if you aren't able to offer traditionally printed hardback versions of the single books?

Ben is a GREAT writer. I hope we can buy an HARDCOVER version of the 3 cities, guys. I really need it

Even though I've been playing GW stuff pretty much since the German version of 40K's Second Edition came out, I haven't actually read all that many of the novels. Part of the reason for that is that some of them unfortunately really are quite bad. And others are well written, but totally inconsistent with any established 40K lore. That took away from the willingness of trying for that many more, especially since my reading list is rather full as it is.
That being said however, I have stumbled across the name of Ben Counter. And not in a bad light. I'm looking forward to his contribution.
