Formula Wincars aims to be the craziest racing arcade game ever, holding wild races among players all around the world through impossible and fantastic circuits.
Beginners will feel comfortable from the very first play, and more expert players will also find the fast response speed and accuracy required for high-level competition.
All circuits will be full of secrets and elements to charge and level up your driver special skills during the race, making of Formula Wincars a deeper experience than other pick up and race games. As you can imagine, we will focus on the multiplayer experience, with up to eight players competing simultaneously, both individually or teamed up in 4 vs 4 strategic challenges in a very special cooperative synchronized mode.
It goes without saying than we’re all Mario Kart lovers, but there’s much more than that! For example Street Racer, another karting title first appeared on SNES. We’re also devoted fans of Yu Suzuki (Out Run, Hang-on, Virtua Racing…) and spent more time playing Ridge Racer or Crazy Taxi than doing something worthwhile with our lives (according to our moms' words)
We’re also true believers of competitive playing as seen on documentaries like The King of Kong or Chasing Ghosts. The 80’s Arcade culture of leading the rankings is something that we wanted to include in Formula Wincars, and our massive Tournaments will be the living proof of this.
We are convinced that Formula Wincars is meant to be an F2P game: it allows us to build a huge community of players and it’s also a good system if you want to make an ever-expanding game.
Nowadays, most companies claim to sell you the full title at $50, and then start selling DLC’s planned from the very start, and that’s something that we wanted to avoid.
Besides this, we are players rather than developers and we know how it feels to gather never-played games that you paid for in your Steam account. This will never happen to you with FW where you’ll be able to play for free.
As everybody knows, some companies have used Free-To-Play doing unethical practices, our intention is to be honest and transparent making clear some core aspects of Formula Wincars:
Multiplayer competition will be the core of Formula Wincars. Players will be able to compete in up to 8 players vs exciting challenges using tricks, interactive elements, items and drivers' skills such as turbo and stomp. It will be easy to find a match with players of a similar skill level or to add some of your friends to a match. Besides, we will take a step further with our special 4 vs 4 teams mode. In this challenge, players will be able to share their driver's Special Skill with their teammates.
After using a Special Skill, it will remain available for your teammates for a while. So, it will be very important to use it at the most convenient time for your team and not only for yourself. As you can imagine, this increases the strategies and possibilities, making a very important factor of team building and strategy during the race.
During a Season, the players will earn Championship Points for every race they finish. The amount of points will depend on their results and the skill level of their rivals. Finally, these points will be added to their accounts, determining the players' positions along the season world wide ranking, and allowing them to compare with their friends. This is very important, given that Formula Wincars is a competitive game. Racing against people all over the world and rising up to the top of the rankings will be an amazing experience!
Besides, we will celebrate Special Massive Tournaments.
These will be special events with more than 4.000 people racing simultaneously during one or two hours through several rounds with the goal to win fantastic physical prizes.
Once the date, prizes and rules for a tournament are announced, players will have some days to sign up for it. When the date approaches the players will be reminded so that they don't forget to join when the competition starts. Finally, the players will fight through several rounds. Those with better results will pass on to the playoffs. When the playoffs end, the winners and their prizes will be announced in our web and their names will be published in our news feed inside the game.
Yeah, it's about driving. But not just driving. There will be a great number of cars and drivers available, all of them with special characteristics and parameters. Players will be able to change their cars settings to suit their driving style, upgrade them with new pieces or customize them with skins and stickers to earn more fans, or even change the license plate text.
But this is only the beginning. As a racing squad manager you will be able to hire new staff for your team, decide research aspects and learn the truth behind Formula Wincars and your drivers' background stories.
The game will be launched with an initial set of 12 cars and 8 drivers, and we hope to reach a number of 20 drivers and 30 cars by the end of 2015, as we will be constantly incorporating new content to make of Formula Wincars an ever expanding game
In Formula Wincars the challenge starts before the race.
As you already know, there will be lots of cars and drivers in Formula Wincars. Each of them will have different parameters concerning Speed, Acceleration, Grip, Turn, Weight and Endurance.
Drivers will have different properties, complementing those of the cars. Before a race, the players will need to choose a proper combination of car and driver to succeed. Besides, a wise use of the driver's Special Skills is fully recommended. The Turbo and Stomp will not recharge immediately, so you will have to think twice which skill to use and when to do it.
This is even more important when playing Teams Mode.
In Teams Mode, the moment when players use their Special Skill will affect their teammates. The players will have to be careful not to spoil their victory chances!
Cars are Formula Wincars cornerstone. Our artists are putting great effort in creating fully original designs in order to have a complete set of awesome cars in different styles, all of them with their own aspect.
Concerning gameplay our cars will be sorted into four different kinds: Gran Turismo, Sport, Off-Road and Formula, all of them offering great possibilities. Gran Turismo cars will be easier to handle. Sport cars will be faster,a good option for those aiming to burn out in secondary roads. Off-Road cars will be the right choice when dealing with different terrains. Finally, Formula cars will be the fastest, with the highest acceleration rates, requiring of a finer driving.
Need more? Ok, there is still much more.
There will be special collections to unlock such as Retro, Tunning, Concept and Fantasy cars, all of them with stunning designs. Besides, every car will have a huge amount of skins available allowing players to adapt any car to their own likes.
Formula cars will be those more suited for Competition Circuits, faster and with high acceleration rates, but more difficult to drive when they happen to get out of the road. Off Road cars will be specially appropriated for driving over different terrains, such as dirt, sand or snow. Sport cars will be more suited for countryside races, combining highways with secondary roads.
Drivers will be almost as important as cars in Formula Wincars, as they will complement the cars performance over certain surfaces. All our drivers share two skills: Turbo, to gain extra speed, and Stomp, to hit other players.
Additionally, every character will have a unique Special Skill, not shared by any other driver, providing advantages against other players, such as extra speed, invulnerability, or the use of certain shortcuts by jumping or changing the car's size.
But Formula Wincars drivers are more than a set of parameters and skills. They will seem alive to you, with their own personality, and background stories that the players will be able to unlock by completing achievements until they unveil all the misteries behind Formula Wincars.
All circuits will be full of items, secrets, alternative paths and shortcuts, and will be divided into four different kinds: Competition, Urban, Rally and Countryside.Each kind of circuit will have different properties, favouring some cars above others.
But that's only the beginning of the story!
While Competition and Urban circuits will be a little more serious, resembling professional circuits and cities that may be found in real world, Rally and Countryside circuits will be much more crazy, full of dangers and surprises, with interactive and destroyable objects to make an amazing adventure of every race.
In Formula Wincars you may have both virtual and real fans. The addition of both of them will determine your level of fame. The most famous racers in every race will get their face displayed in the circuit screen as a sign of recognition, and the audience will cheer up louder when they come near. The most famous racers may even be sponsored with special stickers in their cars.
As Formula Wincars also means adventure and not only racing, players will receive virtual fans for permorming special actions such as breaking a wall or opening up a shortcut for the first time. When it comes to achieving real fans....well, that's a matter of yours! People will be able to become a fan of yours after a race by clicking the "Follow" button or visiting your profile

We will also be giving you original signed paintings from our concept artist.

Formula Wincars is DragonJam’s first project, though all team members have thorough experience in videogame development. Formerly, they worked at: Electronic Arts QA Cert (Battlefield 4, Mass Effect 3, Need for Speed: Rivals, FIFA 13…), Gameloft, Rovio, and developed titles like Skara: the Blade Remains (Pc 2014), Hybris (Android 2012), Santa vs Oogie (Mac iOS), Roving Rogue (Wii U 2014) or Ufolocaust (iOS 2012).
