QUICK QUESTS is an RPG-styled strategic trading card game set throughout time and space in a war to end all wars. Using core functions of a traditional RPG (Role Playing Game), players take control of a character or team of 2 or 4, to both equip and use weapons, armor and items based off their character's specific class and job type. There are four class types: Fighter: the single targeting melee; Ranger: the single targeting ranged; Rogue: the multiple targeting melee and Caster: the multiple targeting ranged. Each of those classes has seven job types, based off the seven Auras types in Quick Quests: Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Matter, Time and Space; for a total of 28 different playable characters, each from a different point in time and space. Unlike any other card game available to date, the 28 characters, each with its own skill based off of its Aura type, will not constantly change. What does change however, with expansions, is the game play format your character(s) can go on, Dungeon Crawler, a Co-op PVE, or a PVP: Dueling Match, where last team standing wins. It all depends on what you're in the mood for. Each expansion tells more and more of the over all Quick Quests saga. Unlike a traditional RPG that can take weeks or even months out of your life, Quick Quests gives you the same satisfaction of playing said type of RPG from start to finish all in about 30-40mins while dueling only take 10-15mins per match. Quick Quests is a RPG video game in a physical and digital card format.
As it stands, we are ready to move into production phase. 90% of the funds will go towards making the decks of cards. 10% will go towards getting more character starter decks illustrated early. I'm happy to say that a professional is created the final cards. beautiful fantasy-inspired images. (the layout of the cards in the video IS the layout,all images will change). Also, all the stretch goals funds will go towards what they are. There are 3 expansions planned and already done with. They won't come out until after all 28 characters have launched in the next 6 months.

It shows my personality, Hamlet, and that i am willing to do what it takes to make this game work. (there were plans for a different kind of video but could not get all the people on a same schedule.)
Kind of yes, mostly no. I made all the cards, with limited Photoshop skills (see previous FAQ). They lay out of the cards ARE in fact the final layout. but the images are being done by a amazing and talented illustrator. They will be fantasy styled drawings with watercolor painting. Check out the "UPDATES" section for an idea.
No. When the cards launch, so will the digital format. It will be for Android/Windows/iOS, and will feature cross platform play. All appropriate backers will receive special onetime use codes to unlock any and all cards from Kickstarter on the Quick Quests apps.
A Self-Sustaining Deck is the what the LOOT DECK of Quick Quests using. Unlike any other card game where you use a specific type of card (mana/land/energy/etc), in Quick Quests any card can be used to any other card. That is where just part of the strategy comes into play. Weigh your options well.
