All games incorporate psychology, this one takes it head on. You will be using Backhanded Compliments, Clever Insults, Paranoia, Stress and Phobias to manipulate scores on four dimensions. It has twists, multiple tactics, and counter-actions that keep the game fresh and replay-able.
Your strategic decisions will be based upon balancing your:
- Mental Energy
- Psychological Baggage
- Attacks or Defense
- High energy cards vs. Low cost cards
The flavor of the game is light, but the strategy is intense. You choose to lower another player’s score with a clever insult, they block that change with resiliency, but you overcome their resilience with persistence. All of these actions use Mental Energy… is that where you want to spend it?

These cards (stacked to the right) let you and other players know what your objectives are and how you are doing. They also indicate who is suffering the effects of a Neurosis!
ACTION CARDS: These cards are played to change one of four category scores, either on yourself or on other players. They use Mental Energy and typically come with Psychological baggage.
SPECIAL CARDS: These cards effect players in all other aspects of the game play. The effects cover a wide variety of territory. They use Mental Energy and typically come with Psychological baggage.
REACTION CARDS: Use these cards to block an action taken against you or another player.
DEFENSE MECHANISM CARDS: These cards will protect or provide a benefit to you in a variety of ways. They will disappear after you go to therapy.
PHOBIA CARDS: These cards cancel the effects of Defense Mechanisms. They can only be removed by going to therapy or by the Hero Archetype.
HIDDEN AGENDA: These cards may be held in a player’s hand until the secret condition of the card is met. Once the condition has been met, the player will earn a Victory Point outside of the regular scoring system.

Transparency: We will let you know of any issues or challenges with the games whether it's production, new stretch goals, shipping, or game design updates.
Shipping: International customers will be responsible for any custom fees, duties, or VAT taxes.
The Plan: Is well under way. We have the templates from the manufacture for the cards, the distributor is in place and will be ready to ship. We have printed beta versions of Psych Warfare and tested the game over the past 8 months. We will continue to look for ways to improve the game right up until publication.
Risks and challenges
We have successfully launched 2 games. Cache Me If You Can! The Geocaching Board Game, (5/13/2013) and Zombie Apocalypse Geocaching (10/31/13) both have received great customer reviews. Our manufacturing/distribution network is in place and with your help we are preparing to launch Psychological Warfare. Psych Warfare has received extremely positive reviews over the past months when presented at regional game cons. We have faced the challenges of launching a new product and have a proven track record for bringing new games to market. We are hoping to ship in late July, but sometimes there are delays with printing/shipping. We have an excellent reputation for responding to our customers and keeping them informed every step of the way.
